Verizon and the Note 3

Hi everyone!
This "Will ship BY Oct. 10th" thing that the Verizon website states, what does that mean?
Is that the release date for Verizon?
Will it come earlier?
Sorry if this has already been asked or discussed. If it has, please point me to the correct thread/ :)

All other US carriers (besides US Cellular) already have the Note 3, yes?

..smile.. it means "it will ship by...." Oct 10th. Unless you are VzW exec, or in the back pocket of one. All else is speculation. And yes, its been talked about on every forum, users group, across the network. VzW (myself included) have upwards of 7 days to go still. Current thinking based on past pre-orderd is maybe mid next week. we'll see..
 
I went into my local Verizon store and played stupid (I seem to pull it off really easily ;)) and when accosted by the annoying roving salesman I loudly asked where the Note 3 display was. He said they didn't have it available yet. I said, "Really? Everyone else has them - AT&T, T-Mobile..." Literally every sales person cringed and looked up. It was beautiful. I admit, I love tormenting these people.

They assured me that they would "have one on display by October 10th." I noted that he did not say they would have them for sale. I really felt like saying, "That's okay, I'm heading over now to one of your competitors to check them out." but I didn't have the heart to kick them while they're down.
 
yeah BB told me yesterday that they will get it for verizon by the 10th. was going to switch to verizon, but sprint had it first, so i stayed with them and i now have the note 3 in my hands......LOL

No worries by this time next week, we vzw folks will be pulling down 15-20Mbps in most of the US. That extra week with sprint or tmobile won't seem that much when you're pulling down 3G speeds for most of the US for the next year. LOL....

That's the truth..I would rather go back to using my galaxy nexus on Verizon than a Sprint note 3 lol
 
I called Verizon today about my Note 3 pre-order and was told that it would ship on October 7 and so that I would receive it on the 10th. I don't really believe this, so if I don't get an email confirming shipment on the 7th I will just cancel the pre-order and pick one up on the 10th at a Verizon store. I was told they will have them at the store then. Hopefully that is true.
 
I feel you all i am waiting for mine too where i work which i wont say where but we didnt get any Verizon note 3 yet but i bet by Wednesday they will come in like the rest of the note 3
