We absolutely have a stable 4.1.2. That is stock for us.

The thing is they r making it for lower end devices, so it shouldn't be as hard as 4.1.x at least in my opinion bc they were more thrown for the brand new phones

we partially have 4.2 working and you're asking about 4.4? lol i heard that too, about the lower end phones. but maybe it means that the phones that are upgraded to 4.4, in the future it will be easy to update in the future rather than 4.4 will be compatible with all phones because google says it will bring more support lower end phones. Btw our chances of seeing 4.4 officially is 0%, developmentally will probably bring it to 45-65%

Lol ik we will never get it officially but we have a chance of we still have devs here, but I've always wanted to be a dev so maybe if no one takes this project I'll try to learn how to, BC I really want this lpl

I would love to learn how to dev also, just have no idea where to start.

http://xda-university.com is a good place to start if you want to learn to build from source.

As far as Google saying 4.4 will be compatible with lower end devices... Nobody really knows what that means. It probably wont mean a whole lot as far as getting 4.4 on "X" or "Y" device that isn't officially supported.

This is because you're still not going to have proper source for drivers and they'll have to be reverse engineered.

If you have dev support for 4.3 or 4.2, you will probably see people attempt 4.4 support. If you don't have those to use as a stepping stone, 4.4 is going to be just as hard as the others.

Thx I will try to learn, but to me Google is saying they will make a more open so to way source so its compatible with a lot of phones, just my thought and probably off but thats what im hoping for

We have several cm10+ variants. All of them have a few issues. Check the cm10 thread for more details.

You know what pissed me off is that when I ordered my phone, it said "it had" JB 4.1, and when it came yesterday, it was ICS 4.0. FRIED MY EGGS!

hey chev! nice to see you, didn't know you were developing for the sequent too! First the warp and now the sequent

Anyways kudo's man, glad to see ya here

That's good to hear man when I first got the sequent I originally got is as a dev phone and the community didn't have root or a recovery! I'm really glad to see the phone being transformed into something so much greater, cause I had thrown it in my drawer and forgot about it while making my ROM for the warp. There is some real talent on the board here I guess I'll have to whip the phone back out and take everything for a spin. If I got any questions I'll be sure to ask :-)
