What are the chances of a black Friday sale on the nexus 5? Did they have one for the nexus 4? I suppose I better just order now, if I want to actually get one around black Friday... That's all that's holding me back, the chance of a deal.

Brick and Mortar stores might have a sale on the subsidized versions, but don't expect the price to drop on Google Play until they're trying to sell out the last of their stock to make room for the 6th Generation phone.

Zero deals. Absolutely no way. It's already being sold at a very slim margin. There's huge ongoing demand for these fine phones.

Next year just before the next model is released the Nexus 5 will still be full price just like the Nexus 4 was this year.

They actually cut the price of the Nexus 4 by 100 dollars as they sold off the last of their inventory in September.

Well that's it then. I'm now in the queue, one white 32 GB, one black 32 GB, 3-4 weeks. Time to turn off auto-pay on my virgin mobile account, and move over to the "Just bought one" thread... yes!
