Verizon Nexus one cancelled

Looks like the Nexus one will not be on the Verizon network:

Well... it would've been nice to have both the Droid Incredible and the Nexus One on Verizon so that people can basically choose which one they liked better. Oh well. I guess all the people who were waiting for the Nexus One will be getting the Droid Incredible.

Since that post didn't explicitly eliminate the possibilty of the N1 on Verizon (rather it simply suggested the Inc), here is more definite confirmation:

I read on another forum that the nexus will be droid2 on verizon just like they did with the env coming late 2010

seeing as how the incredible has better specs, i figured they wouldn't sell the nexus one. why would people still want the nexus one?
