I disagree, but lets look into it to make sure everyone has the right answer. That was the main reason I wanted GV.Actually, using Google Voice does use your minutes.
Googling comes up with that answer, for me at least.

You should post that in the WiMAX thread.

Hi Acce$$. The quick answer is YES. The long answer: Sprint owns 51% of Clear. You'll see more about that in the official WiMAX thread, starting with post #1.this question may have already been answered/discussed before but a quick search didn't turn anything up for me
would the EVO be able to utilize Clear's 4G network?

Google voice users don't get invitations to give away to friends, you have to get one from Google at the url below:Does anyone have an invite to spare for Google Voice? PM me if you do...

The comment about your posts, I apologize, I was thinking of someone else.
I get irked when people comment on things that they are incorrect about, that is all.

Humm weird, I don't have that. Never had any invites show up and never have invited anyone so... to be honest that's the first time I've even seen that option. I guess your right although to be honest I put my email address in a few months ago and 3 days later I had an invite. Give it a try whoever was asking for one.
Welcome, shepx5. Looks like you're in an area where Sprint has great coverage and Texas has some of the best WiMAX coverage in the country.Google used to give out 3 invites per email that signed up with Google Voice. They no longer do that because of the # of people signed up.
BTW - I've been a lurker for about a month. I'm tired of my ATT service dropping calls on a certain road out here, so I'm going to jump on the EVO bandwagon ASAP. Hopefully Sprint's service is better for my normal treks!!
