I disabled the wake function OK so my screen does not come on now but it still starts music when I hit the volume button when asleep, the screen just stays off now, I know I saw the fix somewhere but can't find it for the life of me. Does anyone remember?

Ugh, your right. I though the music was coming on because it was waking the screen and accidentally the icon was being pressed in my pocket. . Annoying!

I installed this rom early last week and have had no issues with data or wifi. The only issue I have ran into and it was only once, the keyboard wouldn't launch for me in any application. A reboot fixed that and I haven't ran into the issue since. I'm switching back to sense from having ran Vanir for some time and I'm liking this immensely, it's actually my new dd. Thanks for this Captain!
 
After a full wipe I'm not able to set up my hotmail account with the mail apk. I tried swapping it with Yankees but I get the same thing. Had this issue on R17 also :confused::confused:

"not able to set up" is a bit vague. Can you please provide more details so troubleshooting is possible?

After I type in my email address and password and hit next it doesn't go to the next page it just stays there. I tried microsoft hotmail first and then I tried other. I get the same thing every time

I think I fixed this in r25 - I found something with Hotmail that I thought might be an issue while looking at something else. I haven't tested Hotmail on mine because it gets restored automatically.

I'll try to clean flash and test it out later.

I seem to be having issue when I am on a call and pull phone away from my face the phone does not come on. I hit power button to get it on . Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem ? Loving the smooth action of Rom.

I just tried this on a clean flash of r24, and my Hotmail account set up with no issues :confused:.

And just tested this on a clean flash. The proximity sensor responded correctly every time. You have a screen protector on your device that could be causing the issue, or are you running a non-stock kernel with sweep2wake enabled?
 
went from Viper to Y4 and now to Cap's R24 and this is very smooth , i literaly installed on way to work ,, i had one issue taking phone out of case it was stuck on HTC ONE boot screen, it rebooted fine and after hasnt happened since

i tried editing to turn off volume wake feature and it said that system is not mounted as R/RW just read only ,,, if this is not something common or i may need to reflash and try again

this ROM is very smooth thank you Captain
 
on Y4 i was able to edit and turn off Vol Wake feature and also still had music playing ,, ultimately i disabled button controls off from with in the music app settings I use ubermusic and power amp and it worked for them but the stock android music app would still turn on so i backed them up with Titanium in case i needed them and then removed them from the ROM it worked fine for me but for some reason I'm unable to edit and save for the vol wake with R24

Edit : downloaded total command app and allowed me to disable vol wake and turning off headset control in music app stopped my players from going on but i did remove googles music player apps

R24 very smooth, bulletproof kernel s2w disabled , ddtap2w disabled & vol wake disabled , really like this sense 5 Rom, can't wait to see what you guys can do with an official 4.3 sense 5 Rom
