Yeah maybe. on the midterm I felt the same way I thought I was going to only get a 50 percent on my midterm. Turns out I got a hundred percent on the question that I didn't even I think I completed at all. So, I currently have a 97 percent in the class so I'm not too worried. But having a would be really nice to have in this class.

Are you talking about the create-an-eyelid thing? (I saw a whole documentary about it on MTV lol) I don't think you are plain, but I have always preferred the girl-next-door type myself.
Seems kind of drastic to me to have surgery just because it's trendy, even if it is relatively minor. I agree with you that the pressure society puts on people to look a certain way is sad. What is weird is how the wires get crossed sometimes. Like it seems women think guys all want them to be some glamorous supermodel, but I think most guys would like a cute nerdy girl lol.

Our students love manga. In fact manga comics and books are probably one of the most confiscated items during classes. LOL! They get them back of course. Thing is they don't really get that much spare time in Chinese schools. Six days a week, 07.30 until 21.00.

Usually my school nights are overrun with like 7 stacks of homework. But in a few weeks I might have some time to read, which makes me feel better about the huge, infinite stack in my bedroom.
