By the way, I have been running this for about half a day so far and I am very happy. Thanks to OP for this great ROM. Got the camera fixed and all is working very well and fast!
 
Will Philz recovery work with this rom??
an will the recovery you posted make a backup that will restore ??
after the stock MK5 update?

Philz is CWM based with 6.0.4.5 so it should work. Haven't tried so myself so I can't say it does work 100℅.

1) I'm not sure, but Philz might work. Give it a try and tell me, don't worry, nothing will happen to your device if it doesn't

3) Not sure, others may have used on the MK5 baseband, I'm on MG2, but it should work
 
I installed CM11 with Philz recovery, and it worked flawlessly. I never installed the ota MK5, so I can't help you there.
 
I installed this ROM on MG2 using Philz Touch Recovery. Wifi, LTE, and 3g work great although I am unable to send/receive MMS. I tried switching the mobile network to CDMA to download/send MMS and also tried flashing the APN Mod 1 fix without any luck. Anyone else able to get MMS working? I'm wondering if it has to do with using Philz Touch Recovery version 6.00.8 instead of 6.03.5. I cannot seem to find a download link for the latest Philz Touch Recovery 6.03.5 for the S3...I can only find version 6.00.8 @ [d2spr][CWM ADV.] OFFICIAL PhilZ-Touch Recovery 6.0 [11.24.13] - xda-developers I'm considering just trying CWM 6.0.4.5 to see if I can get MMS working.

Does anyone happen to know where I can find CWM 6.0.4.5.tar.md5 so I can push the file using ODIN? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Sorry about that, apache seems to have crashed. I have restarted it so the site should be backup.

Our device is d2spr or L710, not i9305 so that is why it failed.
Flash this http://itslightness.com/d2vmu/CWM6.0.4.5.zip inside your current recovery to upgrade to CWM 6.0.4.5.
 
Is this compatible with 4.3 mk5 if i updated by flashing the 4.3 ota zip through stock recovery?

i am on slim bean rom, is the procedure the same or do i need to downgrade anything?
 
Someome said mms works, im unable to get them to send. Havent received any yet, so unsure if that works.

I tried updating from previous build and now I just did a full wipe and clean install with the same results. (Dalvik, cache, system etc) using Philz.

Just sharing my experience, no complaints otherwise.
 
Just flashed, and everything seems great, I'm loving how smooth everything is running and i noticed less ram consumption too
