Actually its going to become easier to be a wireless provider and as much as the other networks push LTE. Wimax is the easiest solution. Not just for celluar data, but for Data, internet and VOIP as well

As promised, here are the screen caps I took of the email I received from EVP regarding the pre-order list I had joined.
-What bothers me on this first part of the email is that it's still pretty "ambiguous" as to when the EVO is coming out, but at least August is completely ruled out. Note the "Within 60 Days" line-
- On this 2nd part of the email, it gives out majority of the specs that are already available. The part that bothers me (which I think EVP might be slightly confused as to what the information means) is where they say it'll have "1GB of built in storage." Seems to me that they're referring to the 1GB ROM (which we've established on this thread that ROM doesn't equal "internal storage").-
-There's no real significance about this last part of the email, but just included it so you can see it's from EVP-
Within 60 days, meaning by June 25th! So Sprint is no longer just calling it a summer release, which could have potentially meant September. This is great confirmation of early June ETA or even the potential late May ETA.

Well my laptop has 4gb memory and 500gb hardrive so the Evo comes close to my laptop..my evo will be like a second laptop for me LOL. I will be happy either way. Evo will be a much nice phone compared to my pre.I think 128GB would be better...

Not really about the EVO but makes me wonder. My mother pre ordered the HTC Incredible and it shipped Sunday the 25th and the estimated delivery date is the 28th a day early then the actual release date. Although pre order for the EVO Will be through Best Buy and I would imagine an in store pick up?... I just though it was funny how sloppy Verizon is if the phone is delivered tomorrow.

Have you heard whether or not video calling will be supported on 3G along with 4G/wifi? I just read that the iPhone may only support wifi calling but that's tbd.
i dont think video calling will be supported on 3g with sprint because it cant do voice/data simultaneously( correct me if im wrong), and sprint will be trying to show what 4g can do so i think they will have it work over 4g. as bad as att network is i wouldnt be surprised if they only allowed it over wifi
