Root Zv5? Should I install

Ya that's what I read, but we found a bypass already for it, I just wanted to make it a little simpler for ppl on root to see of its worth it

doesnt stop loki, loki just needed updated for it as the offsets changed. I have submitted the changes to bliss to merge.

I have a test recovery.img being tested ;)

Sweet! I just used your loki update from your pull to patch ZV5 kernel, but I'm not posting it till you get confirmation from your tester lol.

The hdr is very hard to get lol. It's the only thing stopping me from helping with adding new firmware updates or adding new devices to loki.

pull the latest loki src and try loki_find out. Its what I used. ;)

And a loki'd boot.img booted fine. We still working on cwm tho.

I didn't try that before cause I read bliss's comment saying that we still had to get hdr manually lol. Now I know, thanks.

It may be the case one some devices. It worked for updating this one and for adding the USC F7 tho. lol

You're definitely right on that. I just tried on the Spirit as a test and no go, but still useful for sure. Loki without a doubt is one of the most brilliant creations in the world of android, well at least I think so lol.

yea doesnt work for hdr for the motion either.
 
Okay. I just got the update via notification this morning. I'm rooted to shit, with xposed frameworks (gravitybox, floating windows, etc...), and root itself... If I do this update, what should I know, what steps should I take in preparation, and what should I expect? Or will it work without problems? And will a CWM backup even help my case? (is CWM even working in ZV5?)
Thanks in advanced. I'm a bit cautious of this update. As much info would be appreciated. I'm sure I'm not the only one, who doesn't know what half of this loki Crap means! Lol. Dumbing it down would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!

loki patches boot/recovery to allow by-passing the locked bootloader bs.

Currently you have to flash the ZV4 aboot to get CWM too boot.
