since your just deodexing... okay extract the /META-INF , /system/app & system/framework folders from your rom.zip..
place them in a folder together... download the file linked ..extract the file and paste it overwriting the updater script file. ..
then go back to where you only see the meta inf and system folders. .. select them both and zip. .backup then flash in recovery. . let me now what happens.. you could do this in root explorer or on computer

just as i thought. the file you linked is an update-script file. when i try to flash the rom it says that the update-script is deprecated and wont do anything.

oh wow , I'll rewrite it when I get home. .. that file was from an old script that I used with my old m835 :) but because phils recovery is newer it was deprecated. . oh well at school. have to write in notepad++

with my internet it would be faster for you to set up cygwin and do everything i did than it would be for me to upload a 900 some odd mb file. i am just using the sytem.img out of the prerooted rom from xda

i am giving up. what ever is wrong is way over my head. it is probably something very simple that i just dont know about due to my lack of experience.

i was trying to do a deodexed rom so i can start learning how to theme and mod roms.

That meta dont work you have to send me the one the kitchen made are you use ubuntu
If not is ok I am installing ubuntu to download kitchen and start make the rom I dont have much time ok I work I just have weekend
 
Hello there, I just recently got this phone from a friend of mine, and wanted to show that i have interest in this phone as well, and also a big thank-you to all the developers for helping in development of this phone, it has some potential to become something great i'm definitely sure :D

hey , I made a deodexed stock and it builded... i'll post links to meta.inf whenever it uploads .. I would post deodexed rom . but its 361mb :S that would take a long time on 4G

did you try to flash it to see if it flashes and boots up?

it still doesnt work. i am not getting the status 7 or 0 error. it just says error in sd card. its funny because the deodex rom for the t599v will flash but it just goes to boot loop and the 10.1 will flash fine and boot up and work fine other than the bugs it still has. maybe it is Kitchen doing something to the system that is not letting it flash.
