4/29 Deliveries

Just showed up. So freaking happy. Now I gotta wait while it charges.

2GB card included, which was a surprise. Guess that's going on eBay.
 
This is driving me crazy. My status on VZW still says "Order was processed..." but I STILL don't have a shipping notice or tracking number. Only email I got was the initial sale confirmation.

Oh I pre ordered early on the 25th.
 
Drove 60 miles to the Verizon store this morning to return my Droids. Was there when they opened at 9:00. 36 Incredibles in stock and not one customer there to buy one. Got to play with one for a while. Wish I hadn't pre-ordered. Hurried home by 11:00 to wait for FedEx. 4:25pm still waiting. Will this torture ever end?
 
Received mine today (had it delivered to my workplace). Just got done charging, but since I'm leaving in 15 minutes I'll wait until I get home to activate and play around with it.

My first smartphone, so I'm pretty excited (I've been using a very basic Motorola flip phone for the past several years).
 
I was outide the verizon store at 8:45 am. The parking lot was bare except for my car. :confused: No lines... I was the first one in the store.... and the ONLY one purchasing the incredible. The sales people at the other store were talking about lines and first come first serve bla bla bla. People who live here in the middle of no where usa are clueless. They told me they had 125 of them in stock.

I am a happy camper though.... but have not even had a chance to play with it much. It is really awesome!!! Problem is... I am not sure what to do with it. :rolleyes:

I was wondering about this myself. Could it be that the Incredible is a sleeper?
 
got mine finally.

I have to take a shower and go to school, but i dont want to leave my incredible just sitting there while i clean up.

They have had virtually ZERO advertising for this phone except mostly word of mouth and on their website. I was watching TV last night and saw a commercial for the blackberry the violet one for mother's day. Big whoop. I think it will really take off more once people start to see the ones that have been purchased.

I live in South Dakota... and it isn't like there is NO interest... but it is rather limited. One of the stores were talking about if there were lines this morning... first come yada yada...I got worried yesterday and sought out a different store. I am glad I did cause it was soooo fast and easy, but I bet I didn't have anything to worry about. I feel rather foolish now having been so panicked about getting the phone.
 
I would be willing to be that there will be a bunch of ticked off Verizon customers when word gets out..... the ones that bought the moto droid or the devour just a little over 30 days ago. :eek:
