Got to about phone in settings and hit software under firmware is should say ms50010i or ms50012b if your on 12b follow the first steps to get back to "i" then follow the rest of the steps to get root for 12b

ok, ive used dlm before. but now everything is greyed out in kdz_fw_upd_en.exe? phone is in dl mode.

You can't use cdma because the f6 is a GSM phone.

Metro pcs had 4G-lte even when they were on cdma network. I believe its been about 4yrs now since they got 4G.

All went well with the down grade. Back rooted on 10i. Tried the root keeper. Acted like it was gonna update, rebooted. Still on 10i. No worries though.

I had that problem cuz I didn't think I had cwm installed and tried it and sure enough I did factory reset after downgrade should do the trick

Can I Ota with temp unroot? Cause not showing up in software check.

yes because it doesnt factory reset ota so rootkeeper is still there

Does the Ota work on rooted 10i, utilizing the temp unroot with, rootkeeper/superuser? Or does it need to be done by lge tool on PC?

So yes but you have to do it through ota LG tool factory resets

I got the root to stick using pressy4pie's sdcard memory hack and the ota root keeper. just do a hard reset, kdz flash to i, then use pressy4pie's to gain root access, the root backup with voodoo, don't do temp unroot, go back to pressy's and restore original backup, don't flash cwm, then finally do the ota update. after it reboots, do a restore root in voodoo, attempt root in pressy's, update binary in su, reboot, viola. after 20 tries i found i had to follow that order.

Hmm that's weird I used temp unroot both times I did it and it worked fine hopefully gt can get the one click root to work soon for you guys

I still don't see an available update. Tried Unrooting with voodoo and rom toolbox (pro).
