I don't have a pc. is it possible to root my phone without a pc I've tried poot, zr4o or something like that i downloaded one today but i ran a root check on my phone and it wasn't rooted please help

I'm new to all of this and i don't know how to freeze it
You can use "Titanium Backup" or "Chef's App Freezer" to freeze Chinese spyware, but free edition of Titanium cannot do that (I have paid version), "Chef's App Freezer" is free (no paid version).
You must freeze spyware apps before replace superuser, then uninstall all Chinese apps.
Using Chef's App Freezer is easy, just go to Google Play, find & install it, then open it, find Chinese apps in "All" tab, tap on one of them and select "Freeze", do that for all of them. When finished freezing them, go to Google Play again and install open source superuser, open it and replace Chinese version using normal method.

pressypie adapted saferoot to work from a app for his and my F*Utilities apps. I got bored and decided to make it a stand alone app too since it works for several other devices as well. I added unroot to it and a root checker courtesy of CMDann and Adam Outler.

not yet, waiting to let pressypie have first dibs on my changes then I will push my src to github.
his and my F*Utilities repos have saferoot in them too. I still have to implement the changes from the last few days into my F3Utilities repo. I believe he even has the saferoot src in his repo which you would need too.
I posted a thread for it too on UPP.

I'm not trying to build an app for it or anything like that. I wanted to see if I could get it working with the new 12b firmware. If you guys are doing that then I guess no need for me to try lol.

I'm sure I would try, tho thats out of my scope lol. the saferoot src is posted on its thread on xda.
