No, it won't. It will get rid of a bunch of old caches and stuff floating around in your phone that you do not use, so it's probably worth doing, but it will remain 12b.
Did you install the phone's driver?

Yes I installed the phone's driver, HOWEVER when i did the factory reset now my phone wont update or let me download anything.. :\
it gives and error ...... (frustrated)

I have just never had this much issue lol and i almost know it's just something stupid that i'm doing or not doing!
it was pretty much instant. if you go into settings>apps>all>google services framework you can "clear data" and "Force stop" you can force the update prompt
if you are running 12b on the phone "right now" then you have to kdz back to 10i in order to root it... for either 10i or 12b
you need a rooted phone for voodoo to work to save the root while going over to 12b
i believe if you remove your google account from the play store and re-add it, it will fix that error

i figured, well my phone isn't rooted, and the .bat file wont pick up my phone, not to mention it's suppose to be for the f6 but it says galaxy s3 or something.... idk

I think your step 1 is the key. Even though I removed CWM with f6utils on my rooted 10i, I never get the OTA update notice. As soon as my phone is rebooted after flashed to 10i, I got the update notice.
if you are running 12b you need to KDZ back to 10i in order to root 12b.
if you are running 10i already, use saferoot -- http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2743319&d=1400069747 -- be sure to follow the instructions in the command prompt to the very end till it closes.
make sure you enable usb debugging on the phone (also might be a good idea to enable the "install unknown sources" box)
KDZ loader -- http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1621531&d=1357477757 ---- Run KDZ_FW_UPD and set Type to "3GQCT" and phone mode to "EMERGENCY" and select the 10i kdz to load it. (backup anything you dont want lost just in case)
10i KDZ -- http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=FW857785432109876543213/MS50010i_00.kdz
to put the phone in Download Mode: power off the phone completely, hold volume up and plug in usb cord to pc. Do not press the power button... just vol up and plug in. it will power on automatically into DL mode
this is EVERYTHING (except voodoo) you need for either 10i or 12b rooted. you should probably dump any extra crap you may have downloaded previously and use these

saferoots the way to go, you just have to be on 10i and I'd say factory reset to make sure nothing else is messing with you.
I couldn't get kingroot to work. saferoot took first time. When you go to install binaries it might fail the first time, try again and it takes.

people are still having trouble rooting? if you just want to root sucessfully you could also look into my guide about install sdhacks on 12b and follow all steps except for aparted and the f6 utility sdhack part
in short:
if the update pops up just click install later while following this.itll stick in your status bar when your ready for it
1:be rooted
2:be on 10i
3.ota rootkeeper
4.protect root using keeper then temp unroot
5.dropdown status bar and click to update and let it work its magic
6.on 12b now open keeper
7.click restore root
8.if you use supersu or superuser make sure the binaries are reinstalled if it asks(it may fail the first time,dont worry try it again and it should be fine)
9.have a sip of tea and crumpets or whatever you like to do.
10.if this still doesnt work eitheir you dont follow instructions or your phones not an f6 and you shouldnt be here,happy modding

its really easy to figure out kdz back to firmware i then root using the saferoot method then get the voodoo ota rootkeeper to backup the root files then update using the ota update that normally pops up quickly letting you know to update then open the ota rootkeeper and restore root as easy as pie XD

i use this method. it basically tricks the phone into swapping your sd card memory with the internal memory works wonders for me... my phone says i have 14gb of internal storage available

I tried using this method and my phone won't come out of download mode. I've tried exiting the KDZ installer, I tried unplugging the USB, I tried holding down the power button, I tried taking out the battery, I tried holding down the volume down button, tried holding the volume down button while plugging in the USB, I tried holding the home, power, and volume down buttons at the same times, and I tried punching myself in the face out of frustration, no luck.
Any help?
i have no idea how that would have happened. holding the power button for like 30secs always worked for me... the loader also always resets the phone when it is finished and boots normally. you might have closed the kdz loader in the middle of it loading.
all i have at the moment is try to load the 10i kdz till the loader says its complete... the phone should reset itself when it is done. it may take a little while depending how slow your pc is. make sure its set for 3gqct and phone mode to emergency and also select the 10i kdz i linked above

It was my fault. I figured it out and got my phone to 10i.
Now I'm just rooting it and all that good stuff.

So I'm downloading the ClockworkMod on my phone (that's what I want to do to install it right?). I was wondering, what does the CWM even do?
Also, the whole reason I'm rooting my phone is I want to install games directly to my micro SD card for obvious reasons (I want to download large games like GTA San Andreas). Which app should I use to do that? I would like to use the simplest method.

as far as CWM goes its mostly for installing custom kernals and themed roms... mostly. I dont have it on my phone currently since i didn't need it.

I got GTA San Andreas up and running on my phone thanks to you guys. Also got Asphalt 8 and more to come.
Now I just gotta do some research and find out how to get past the "item is not available in your country" message I get when I try to install Real Racing 3 or BF4 commander app. Seems weird since i'm in America

Much thanks. I am very encouraged by your comment that you have 14gb due to this method. But I"m scared to death that I'll mess my phone up in process and make it unusable.Thinking I should try to find someone in LA that I can pay to do it for me, but if not, I will come back to your notes (or if they want to charge big $).
i wouldn't in a million years pay someone to do something like this... its really easy. it wont permanently screw up the phone either. if you happen to mess it up you can always kdz back to 10i and start again.
i didn't always know how to do things like these either but I, like all people, had to start somewhere! The choice is ultimately up to you but learning, good or bad, is always a good thing.

If you worry about mess up your phone, buy the link2sd plus from PlayStore for less than $3. It will accomplish the same thing and there is no risk involve. I didn't do the app2exertnal hack because I have too much stuff on my phone already and I don't want to re-do them over again.
The free version of link2sd moves apps to SD card. The paid version (link2sd plus) moves the internal data as well. Not bad for $2.35.
EDIT - disregard my post. I do NOT need to be trying this on my own. But much thanks for the advice.

But one big question - how the heck could anyone have 'too much stuff on my phone'? I started out with 6 or 8 apps (no games) and slowly but surely, kept deleting them as I got 'not enough storage' warnings. I was down to one app and had to delete it as well! All pics are on external card. How the heck can this be?
