I couldnt get the vpn to work, but i did find an app that toggles the stock wifi on you only need to kill hotsapad one time. Ap toggle apk. Im going to try a router, but any other options?

The downloads are for the phone, not the ps3

Have you tried hotspot shield https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hotspotshield.android.vpn? you can also use this while tethering but it does have a time limit https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=bivpn.vpn, also make sure you gave your ps3 access to your tethering

I got it to work! Thanks man, but is there a free unlimited version?

*Edit- the ovpn is free but the connection isnt stable as the shield, but there is a data limit on the shield, can we manually make a virtual network on the phone?
