Basic exercises are the best, natural motion with some using your own body weight. It'll make you strong and fit quickly. It could be made fun, competition in the above 😀
Go vegetarian!!!
Sorry couldn't resist..
Ps
I'll kick ur A&$ in badminton![]()
Healthy living is a choice. No matter what schools shove into students face. Many schools only enforce a very limited variety of exercise, like football, baseball and basketball but fail dreadfully in teaching life long exercise. My high school was the same way. They only rewarded and noticed the football and basketball players, while at the same time cutting out many units from the curriculum like tennis, golf, bowling etc.
I hated every sport and requirement that my school provided with the exception of badminton. However that was only a week long unit. That was the unit I actually tried. Every other unit I was the one who did nothing.
Yet now I'm out of high school, and as lazy as I was in PE, I'm more active than ever. I'm running, cycling, pushups, sit ups, and squats as part of my daily life.
My PE class taught me, the education system sucks and validates my opinion.

You kids have it easy! When I was in High School, Physical Education was taught by an ex Marine Corp drill instructor. 20 degrees F outside - shorts and t shirt for a mile run. Then back inside the gym for calisthenics. This was 3 days a week. No, I did not participate in an varsity sports.![]()
See that's not the way to teach physical education.
Yes. Yes it is.
Ouch. I'm not competitive like you must be. I don't play to win. I play for the fun of the game. While trying not to get hurt.

Maybe because you had a crappy PE program?
Kids don't get to choose which math or English units to study coming up the ranks - they're given what helps them.
The older generations voted to make it easier because they pansied out.
Competition is part of life. It's a skill to learn, not a character flaw.
I'm impressed that you're taking care of yourself despite the bad PE you had - kudos for that, srsly!
It's not necessary to always be competitive, I often play for fun myself.
But the fact that you missed Unforgiven's point proves what you've missed out on - he and I were raised to respect anyone who tried but also to try.
To compete with ourselves so that we knew we could face challenges and improve.
That's not something that you say ouch to and then take the high ground of playing for fun.
That's something to which you say, ok I've learned to take care of my own body despite them, how do I get in on the other parts they didn't teach me?
