LG G3 Pre-release/Rumor/Speculation Thread

The info is inclusive, since mentions both 2/16 and 3/32 models. Samsung did the same thing with the S5 and noted 16/32/64 in their specs for storage. All that exists is the 16gb.

Carriers will probably pick the lower model and not offer the 3/32. Safe bet.

Samsung did it with the Note 2 and Note 3 also...so, I'm waiting on the carriers to show which direction they went. So frustrating, but overall, I'm liking what LG brought to the table.

Who wants to place bets? My guess is there are two options for base circuit boards: 2/16 and 3/32, so probably no 2/32 as an option.

I am sticking with 2/16 and most if not all carriers will not carry a 3/32. About 99.9% that Verizon would not carry the 3/32.

Plastic :-(

But, if that camera performs as well as they say it does, I may have to trade in my Note 3 to get this. Already have the cash, just need the phone.

Not going for it if it's only 16GB Storage and 2GB RAM, though. Those are not specs I am willing to downgrade.

I am not really a huge fan of their iconography in their skin. I need a more thorough hands on/review before I can pull the trigger.

It does look a lot better than the G2, though (and hopefully less of a smudge/fingerprint/oil magnet), and those buttons aren't disgusting like the G2 buttons are (to me).

There will be third parties, ebay etc selling as well.
Maybe for a few piastres more than the carrier.

Glad to see wireless charging on-board, with or without the QUICK VIEW case.

If 3/32 is indeed an option, or, the standard for U.S. variants, I'm sold.
I'd be OK with 2/32,as with the M8,but,doesn't look like that's gonna be an option.

Too much money to risk it working with Verizon, so would want one from a Best Buy or Verizon store. Again, the S4 is not a shabby device to be "stuck" with for another year :)

I do not like dealing with returns and Ebay purchases. Not even Amazon and they are pretty good. Like returning and service to stores.

So are we indeed looking at a cliffhanger here in terms of the storage size, memory, and release dates? And is it further suggested that we may be looking at a July release? That T-Mobile link says they're giving away a "beta" model every day through June 29??

Could it be they actually DID decide to use the option of buying themselves time to upgrade the internals and that's why we're not seeing the SoC info?

From my experience ebay is quite safe. If they say it works w/Verizon, it should work w/Verizon, otherwise you return it and get your money back.

The service part is also a biggie for me. Much easier popping into a store if there is a problem. Verizon gets picky if not bought by them.

Still, considering there is no 32GB S5 available to order anywhere, not seeing how a 32GB G3 will be. If they make them with VZW radio specs, VZW would sell them by default :)

Cynical me says there will not be one offered, but it just takes one device surprise to bust a cynical trend ;)
