Hi All I made a port of the Euro Optimus F6 505 Kit Kat 4.4.2 Rom to our 500 device

NEW WAYS TO ACCESS RECOVERY
To boot into recovery from a powered off state

turn phone on
before you see the LG Logo
press and hold the home button, keep holding until recovery is booted

(this only works on this rom, will not work on others)

to boot into recovery while you are in Android
Press and Hold the Power button
Press Power Off and Restart
Put check in recovery
Press OK


It is Beta Stage, and needs testing

THERE IS ONE PROBLEM WITH PLAY STORE, AFTER YOU SIGN IN THE FIRST TIME IT GIVES AN ERROR ABOUT AN UPDATE AND THEM FREEZES, ONCE YOU REBOOT THE PHONE IT SHOULD WORK FILE

For those who want all the the files that I took from the D50520B_00.kdz, except data and cache
The files are in raw image (partition) format, except system, I mounted that image and copied all the files to a system folder for ease of access, I did not modify the contents of the system folder, it is as it was found. Its a big ass folder like 1.4 GB uncompressed

lol I was having trouble pulling partitions from the tot till I realized I was using an old binextractor binary. I compiled latest one from repo and problem solved.

System partition img is frakin huge lol. Hope this'll work since there's slight hardware diffs though it doesn't really matter cuz your cm11 looks almost done. Nice!

i had to mod the 505 kk kernel to get wifi working on cm11

those mods should get wifi working on this port

then that key error needs fixing

de-bloat and de-secure it

not sure if im gonna have time to do all that

you can use this rom or the install scripts and the kernel if you want to make something, you have more experience with the de-securing the LG stuff than I do

I'm guessing you're cooking up an Xperion ROM for Kitkat? Am I right? ;)

Woohoo time to test this out!

Edit:
So far everythings working for me and the camera is detected as 4.9MP compared to CM11s 3MP.
Wifi connects ok and tethering works too. The quickremote IR works on my samsung TV. Data works fine but theres no LTE probably because there's no LTE in europe.
Vibrate works great and no blackscreens and a working LED! Loving the boot animation lol.

is wifi calling working ? i see the call tab in settings but dont see the wifi cll option is there any app that does this same function using ur proiveider number ? at my job i get no signal so i use the wifi call
 
also i am only getting 3 g no 4 g or lte and i opened up su and says not installed and trying to get back into recovery i cant
 
only error i seeis that the font doesnt seem to change but i guess theyre just not there since you debloated

edit: i dont seem to have root, but superSU is installed
 
I am getting the bootloop too.

First did a dirty flash, second time did a factory reset.

Both times a bootloop.

did a recovery and kept saying cannot unmount /data so i factory restore, went to stock re root and restore my backup. i dont wanna try this again, feels more buggy than CM11
 
I am sure hroark13 will fix it soon.

That's the common problem. Developers phone is different from the users phone.

it's beta, OK? bugs are supposed to be found.

make a nandroid backup before doing anything.

Edit: replaced wallpaper with live wallpaper w/o any problems.
