Root [MetroPCS] [ROM] KitKat 4.4.2 NEW BETA 4

OK so in order to get lte working which will come up as 4g as the icon you have to go to *#*#4636#*#* in the phone dialer and go to phone info and set the preferred network type to lte/wcdma and make sure under network type it says lte

can you confirm it is lte with speed tests ?

if so I wonder how to do this automtically
 
just dropping by to say i flashed over no problems untill now that i can see, everything works. For me i must say, but qremote still doesnt recognized my tv cuz the codes are european maybe :c

has any tried the boot into recovery option from powered off state yet

no that will zero out you data partition, and you will have to format it

I out instructions in the OP, want to see if people can follow them
 
how do i disable the bootsound? doi go to system/data/sound like i did on my Galaxy s2? or the folders are different?
 
Yeah recovery from phone off still goes to factory reset and if you reboot your phone the preferred network type setting goes back to original so you have to redo the fix

If you have your phone on vibrate or sound off boot sound will go away its only the initial boot that gave me the sound once I put my phone on vibrate I don't get it again

yeah i know but i installed a custom boot animation (nothing wrong with the stock one lol i just dont hate apple) but still get the sound and makes me wanna go pee lol im wondering if i can find the sound files and delete it?

To boot into recover from a powered off state

turn phone on
press and hold the home button, keep holding until recovery is booted
(this only work on this rom, will not work on others)

to boot into recovery while you are in Android
Press the Press and Hold the Power button
Press Power Off and Restart
Put check in recovery
Press OK
