The Ends and Outs of Life

I wish lots of luck in your journey to rediscover who you are. Sometimes you got keep it simple.
As a Buckeye I am glad you are gonna settle in the Great state of Ohio.

Which part of Ohio will you be coming to?

forgive me if this is wrong but i believe its called Pinkerton

That's going to be quite an adjustment ... The big easy to ... the big superfund site. ;)

Yeah bud I know but sometimes you find that some places are just a dead end for ya and well as much as I love this city its really just a dead end for me.

The Moody Blues once said "Thinking is the best way to travel"

They said nothing about a bus
I have been there and done that... it is transportation but it sure is dry humor. I hope you arrive soon and it's all worth while.

at least on a bus.. you cant be shot down. :P

hope there was someone interesting on the bus to past the time with...
safe travels.. and good luck

Welcome to Ohio!

Ohio has loads of things LA don't.

Get your long johns while you can still find them. ;)

Dood, just saw this thread. I've been so slammed with work and travel, haven't been in the Lounge in a while. :o

Is it Pickerington, Ohio?

Let me know, that's only about an hour and a half from me. Last I checked, I owe you a frosty beverage or 10. ;)

Well its been a very interesting couple of weeks :) I am now enrolled in school and will be taking IT classes and getting my certifications so I can move into the work force. Things here in Ohio are interesting to say the least. I still do not have a clue as to where I am :) and sometimes just don't care.

I have been reiterated as a moderator here at the best forums on earth. I completely killed my phone I'm sure I could try some other stuff but with no service on it its just not worth it to me at this point. I can get a ROM on it but no wifi and with no kind of wifi or service whats the point of having it? Just an expensive mp3 player at this point. So I chunked it. :)

I am also engaging a new romance but mums the word on it until I investigate further :p

Gentlemen never tell Arg! :)

Still need to get my arse on the highway. Need a few weeks to get my work caught up. We'll talk. ;)

You just got here and already snatching up the single ladies? Save some for the natives, stud! :p

Ohio has 3 very distinct areas, and each is like it's own culture lol

In Northern Ohio they talk fast and think faster,
Here is Southeastern Ohio things move at a slower pace, we talk a little slower and have a funny Appalachian accent.

Southwestern Ohio is a very fun and unique place. It's a mix of big city living (Cincinnati), small town values, and their is a lot to do.......

Central Ohio is a mixture of all three, but the folks in Columbus can be a little stuck up lol

I hope you are enjoying The Buckeye State!!!
If you ever find yourself in Athens county (home of The Ohio University Bobcats), send me a message and I'll buy you a beverage.

Edit:::: Athens county is also home to one of the premier music festivals in the country (The Nelsonville Music Festival), with acts such as The Avett Brothers, Shovels and Rope, Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls, The Tillers, The Head and the Heart and many many more. Over 50 acts on 3 stages last year!
4 days of sun fun and music😊😊😊😊😊

Dallas / Ft Worth (DFW) area metroplex is like that.

Dallas is fast and tense.. up tight.. like New York and LA.
Ft Worth is more country and relaxed.. more nice.

I have worked in Dallas and in Ft Worth... totally different worlds.
