I have a ProClip installed, onto which I installed Herbert Richter AMPS swivel, and onto that, I've installed Richter universal holder. That works for me..

Yup. That is pretty much how I have set up my phones since the Note 2. Prior to that, I had the original Photon, which has a dedicated cradle, that I connected to my pro clip. I really didn't know how great the Pro clip base was until I purchased one. Now, I have 3 in my daily driver and another in the car I use to transport my senior citizen parents wherever they need to go.

Reason I have fallen in love with qi wireless charging mounts, to connect to the Pro clip, is to have a "dock and go" scenario. I never have to plug the phone in, which is something I loved about Motorola (they created proprietary docks for their phones, which created a dock and go scenario with 3.5mm audio, if one wanted).
 
So i picked up a G3 today, and totally love the phone. I'm looking to get a slim style case, possibly the Ringke slim or Spigen Ultra Fit. Anybody have either of these? Is there something along the same likes thats better?

Seen nothing but good things said about the spigen... I believe there is a thread here with tons of case reviews and opinions. Its either this forum or another I can't remember right now
 
Is there a genuine LG G3 auto/vehicle dock that puts the phone in auto mode and charges it when placed in the dock?, with the charger attached of course.
My Razr had one that charged and put the phone in landscape mode and read my incoming messages when I'd say "listen"
Does anything like this exist for the G3?

Awesome. I bought two of these for the G3 and just purchased two for my Note 3. A little thicker than the one I purchased from ebay, but they are great quality. I just hope I can do a more flawless install this time, since I got lint trapped last time (on the G3). I needed them, since Samsung is replacing my phone (FFC issue w/ lint trapped inside lens).

FYI, for those that buy, requires purchase of 2 items to get the discount to apply.

I forgot to mention that. I had purchased an older nano screen protector for my wife which was only 7 bucks pre coupon. My total for the tempered glass and the nano protector was $5.60.

I had posted a few options for the auto/vehicle dock that has qi charging. From there, placing the phone into auto mode, you could try Car Home Ultra, which allows for customization when connected to a charger. There's also Tasker and then one other one (can't remember the name) that will allow for automation of the car dock.

Motorola makes great proprietary car docks. As for the function of saying "listen" when plugged into the dock, that's a Motorola software enhancement.
 
So I just received a qi/nfc battery door and when putting it on my Nokia charging pad, it either gives me a "charging too slow/move to center" message or continuously does a "charging loop".

"wireless charging 76%"...
Screen shuttoff...
Red LED on...
Red LED off...
Screen on....
No charge indication...
"Wireless charging 75%"... LOOPS

It also shuts down my battery saving mode.

I am hoping it's just the small Nokia charging pad because my friend is letting me test it out before I purchase one.


Any tricks? Advice? Does this happen with anyone else?

Got this one from verizon for 67 otd. Tried every one that they had in store n luckily this was the easiest to work. Every other one seems so touchy. I didn't want to hassle with wireless charging when i could just plug it in faster.

This one has a magnet pulling/keeping it in place, which i wanted, but doubles as a stand/dock. Amazeballs. I love it so far.

Yup. The TYLT is very reliable. FYI - That is still on sale for $49 refurb on Ice Monkey (Daily Steals).

The Tmo store i went in had 0 chargers. I didn't want to drive to another in the middle of SoCal rush hour so i stopped by vzw.

And im usually a bargain shopper, i swear! Always on slickdeals.

Lol... If you look at the beginning of the thread, I had posted all kinds of links for qi chargers.
 
Does anyone have or have tried the Incipio Octane C0-Molded Impact Absorbing Core case? If so is it thick? I wanted a Ballistic Jewel but the only color is clear and that to me is boaring so I thought I would try something other than a cheap S-Line Tpu that I am Currently using. I must say though the S-Line Tpu case works great!
 
Is there a dock I can buy at Best Buy, Sprint or AT&T?

I'm a EVO 4G LTE owner so I use the kick stand quite often. I do not want a case, but cannot seem to find the dock shown in many LG commercials & youtube videos.

Are you looking for something that's portable? There are many universal options out there.

And are you looking for a charging option, in addition to docking? Or just simply to prop the phone up.

Best sites to check aren't necessarily LG, Best Buy or Sprint websites. Is there a particular reason you want to go through those outlets?

And you mentioned a dock you've seen in many of the commercials? Do you have a pic to share, so we have a better idea of what it is you're searching for?
 
Yay, finally have qi charging happiness :)

I had trouble with several of the pucks, ordered an Andoer Qi charger off Amazon, $29 shipped. It's actually an Itian A6, I had looked at the photo before ordering.

Got it in today, tossed my phone on, and it instantly linked and started charging.

A huge relief, after 3 pucks I had been thinking I messed up applying the charging sticker.
