Random Thought Thread

It struck me that since they fired him he'd only beat his wife even more. Then I remembered she can divorce him, and I was fine with the thought until it struck me maybe he's one of those batterers who would follow her to murder her. :/ She was very foolish to marry him. Being knocked out cold is what I'd call a red flag.

The incident on the elevator could have been handled better. But I wonder what happened behind the scenes that caused it to escalate to this point?

You mean to cause his rage? Whatever she did, it's no excuse to punch her out. Just break up if it's unforgivable. I don't understand people at all. :/

Doesn't matter. No excuse. Sad thing is, if it wasn't for the video, the whole thing would have been swept under the rug. Two game suspension? That's less than a slap on the wrist. Putting him in a "diversion program" instead of prosecuting him even with the video is an epic fail by the justice system. I wish we could still tar and feather people.

I'm definitely not defending the guy, not by a long shot. And I hope he gets his comeuppance. All I'm saying is there's always two sides to a story.

Got ready. Still will not go. And it's too late now. Oh well. I should go to an actual doctor anyway. It's just they make it hard to transfer records.

Many of my doctor's visits result in a diagnosis of ODS (Old Dude Syndrome), which I am actually fine with.

As long as my doctor can recognize actual problems and not chalk real issues down to ODS, then I am content.

Yes, I have changed physicians before for them not listening to me...

I'm from the if it ain't broke don't try to fix it .. Rule of thumb when it comes to going to the doctor..
Also if I can crazy glue it.. Hack it off ..set it and forget it..or sew it I will !
Haha! Reminds me of the time hubby had to call in reinforcements after I had a little trip and fall to force me to go to the ER instead of crazy gluing a gash in my head.. Ended up with 5 staples and a cast on my hand.. And a long lecture from the doctor about attempting stupid stuff on my own! To make a short story long:)

I avoid doctors ... As much as possible!

Well since my look for a new job has failed so bad, I decided to do something different.

My boss told me about mystery shoppers, the people who come to our store and rate us based on how we are doing with service.

I thought that something like that would be interesting. I signed up as an independent contractor for mystery shoppers Inc.

So basically what they do us go to places and buy some item from a store and rate the store based on their service and employees, then I send that information to corporation to let them know how that location is doing.

If course there's a little training involved, so we'll see what happens next.

Hey, guys, I heard that Apple just invented the smart watch and paying for stuff with your phone!

Where would we be without all of their wonderful innovations?

I'm not an Apple-basher, I just happen to not buy their products for my own reasons. On my drive to work this morning, one of the morning DJ's was excited that he's pre-ordered his iphone 6. One of the others (who happens to be an Android guy) said "it actually is pretty impressive that you can pre-order a phone from 2012".

I thought it was funny :p

Haha that's funny.

I always liked the design of iPhones. Much better than most android phones. But the OS is slow and stale from when I used it, and now I'm with android and feel like if I'm going to try something new, it's going to be a Windows phone.

But won't do that for a while, because there's great phones for Android. Moto X (gen 2)
