Root Interesting Gravity Box bug...

I went to navigation keys setting, and for menu button long press set search. Instead of bringing up search though, it immediately kills all apps and reboots the phone. I haven't found reboot as one of the options you can set in that list, so I have been actually enjoying it. It makes it so much quicker for my tweaking!

(And I'm not talking about the drugs, people) 😜

Did you uninstall Google search and/or the lg search provider? That would be the cause. It's crashing your phone.

No, but now that I think of it, since using insurance and getting new handset, I did not reinstall Google now. Could that be the reason?

Possibly... I've not actually used the function, I was just speculating that if you didn't have the search app, then it could cause that to crash.

Hey all, So I installed Gravitybox jb, and everything seams to work ok BUT the main feature I downloaded it for in the firstplace, Transparent homescreen statusbar. Bug er somthin maybe?

Try G3 or G2 Tweaksbox. I guess you could say it's a bug, more like an incompatibility.

only place i can find gravity box is within xposed modual and only issue for gravitybox jb wich is version I need and run is transparent status bar only being transparent in lockscreen but not homescreen idk

Ya gravitybox jb transparent homescreen statusbar bar still a no go no matter what kind of workaround I try. again lockscreen can be made transparent lol big deal I need homescreens to be. Using ES filemanager and all sudden all my music shows up again. wow android is awfully picky & choosy a ppl? doubleboot fixed now too.

Gravity box jb might have to be uninstalled though Im just not all that impressed with it. & tbe main reason I wanted it was for transparent statusbar. since that isnt working on my LGMS500 4.1.2 running Xperion ROM & Freedom kernel. if anybody else with 4.1.2 rooted using xposed framework mod wants to test er out.
