My last three devices i have always bought a otterbox commuter case..... I am very careful with my phones and knock on wood i haven't dropped any of my devices... Want feedback please...... I have big hands an fingers and keep my phone in front pocket alone......

I don't like cases that take over the phone. I have used TPU cases on my last two phones and have ordered one for this phone. They are less than 10 bucks delivered. It will be delivered today and I will let you know how it works out. I have never lost or broken a phone but then again, I am an old fart.

New here but had my LG G3 since launch day. Try out from the app store the app called Any Cut. Create a shortcut, then activity, then chose Knock On / Knock Off and this will disable the knock on. No ties to this app, saw it in another thread and it works great. Gives access to all kinds of hidden options, and creates shortcuts to those options. Hope it helps.

I'd suggest looking through the entire thread, as well as the qi wireless charging thread. If you were wanting to replace the back cover, no reason you shouldn't just get one with both NFC and wireless charging.

Pretty sure it was only ATT that had a different wireless charging standard, but before you buy, I'd do a little extra research first. If Verizon uses Qi wireless charging, than buying the one without logo and the wireless charging/nfc sticker is a better bang for your buck.

I'll see if it makes the phone work with the arm band now. I'd still like to be able to use the band to at least carry the phone. I'm thinking about getting a smartwatch just to be able to control music and Endomondo but I'd like one that has a reliable heart rate monitor. The 360 you have to be still to use the HR monitor feature, so it's not really conducive to use during exercise. I'd rather not get a bluetooth HR monitor and a smartwatch if I can get one thing to do both.
Hey guys, I need some help. I just bought this LG G3 and got an Otterbox Defender to go with it. The problem that I have is that I haven't been able to locate a car dock that will fit the G3 when it's inside the case. Can anyone tell me of a good dock that will work with the Otterboxed G3?

So this little note came with the LG wireless charger, and the converter and lead that comes in the box with the phone has the same output.
But I've read on a couple of forums that 2.1A chargers won't hurt my G3, just charge it a bit faster. Is this correct?
Or should I just stick with what the manufacturer recommends?
It's just that there is a wealth of 2.1A chargers around, both online and in local stores. I can find 1.8A chargers on the internet but there's a longer wait.

Hi, as long as the charger is rated at 5.0 volts DC, which is the standard rating for device chargers, including USB charging, it will be ok.
The current rating indicates the maximum current the charger is designed to deliver. The actual charge current depends on the device being charged.
Having said that, I would always use a quality charger, ideally provided by the device manufacturer.

+1 for the Diztronic TPU. Just got mine today. It protected my LTEvo from a 15 foot fall onto concrete, so when we were shopping for cases it was the first brand I went to. Price is nice, too.
Also, slapped a Zagg glass screen protector. So nice!
I know there have been 1,000 cases linked here but I'm looking for something specific. I want some extra protection (I've already got an Invisible Shield screen protector to hopefully protect against screen cracks), but I don't want anything bulky. I quit using my Otterbox Defender on my old Galaxy G3 because it was so thick. Is there a case that will provide protection without adding a bunch of bulk?

I have used this brand and type on my last three phones and I have been very satisfied. Keeps the shape of the phone and adds a layer of protection on the back and edges. The problem I now have with it is I can't wireless charge thought it with my ATT Setup.
