Thnx to #Viperding he got it together.
All i did was pointing out n locating where exactly things goes as a tester.
**It was not the drivers, it was a matter of putting the correct files in the correct directories!
 
Even though data was on...it kept reporting I had no data service...

Since no kk ROMs allowed signing in over data.....I'm on Bard's DANA2...

And data works....

Anyone with same issue?
 
You are not doing something right.

That's not a bad thing. Bard does some very fine work.
If you find something you like and it works for you, Go with it.
He is using a good Stock Base Rom and has made a lot of users happy.
Me included.

This is BETA WARE use it or loose it.
 
I was just saying what was happening...And what I did...

I'm not trying to start anything...

I have no problem with DANA2....

BARD gets my respect...

I may be wrong....

But, I think BARD added Swype to DANA 2 because I was one of few that mentioned liking it....

I'm sorry if I stepped in your toes...And I didn't word things how I meant em.....

Make sure u hav all the LibCamera's
Libchromatix's .so in the lib folder with 644permissions n root owners . U can pull the ones from stock (KK) not the ICS or JB (they would not work) n they hav2 come from a device with same xpecifications of cam/vid n push in newer roms som times they get broken in the built .

also, what do you mean by stock KK

there is no stock KK

that does not mean you have it

it shows there that it was called, and it failed to power up, becuase it is not there

let me ask you, did your camera not work on my version of my roms I put out the KK or CM11 ?

yeah I looked at the ROM and they did not do anything that would change that situation

I am sure that both cams worked for Krlypumaa on the roms I released

So he is not aware of the problem, and is just confusing everyone

I dont think the ov5693 cam will work untill LG releases a KK kenrel for this phone, cause that is where the problems is

I did add the drivers and stuff for it in the kernel, but I am missing something, and just can not figure out what
