Agreed.. The no sound issue sounds like physical hardware issue.

Just did that. It does say "UNKNOWN." So how would I get a radio to reflash it...?
Thanks for helping. I also messaged that guy.Hopefully I can have this all fixed tomorrow. A day without my phone is driving me nuts!
Go to the very first post of the thread. It has instructions.
And I enjoy helping. This thread was originally me asking for help because I flashed my radio and my phone was ruined for like.. 3 weeks. Lol
and I found some others and they don't work either.Only thing i can think of, is you formatted internal sd card, thus wiping efs folder. If you go into "about phone" and see no imei, or any of that stuff, than the internal got wiped (via recovery when you flashed roms).
If anyone has the time to do a step by step with links to download the stuff I need. I would love you forever. haha Not really but you know what I mean. I'm seriously at witts end with this and about to throw the phone across the room, I know it's my fault but we have all been where I'm at lol... thats how we learn but I have tried everything I know plus what FoxTrot and others have said.![]()
Please help!
Your correct. Formatting device will wipe efs. Not the internal sd card.Wiping the internal SD card doesn't wipe the EFS folder on this phone. It's not stored there. I format my internal SD every time I install a new rom since the wipe to install new rom option doesn't format the internal SD. I hate all the stuff left behind if I don't. In Philz to wipe internal SD it's under mounts & storage, format data and media.
Anyway I just wanted to point that out so no one got confused. It's a very good idea to do a custom backup in Philz of the EFS folder before flashing any roms just in case.
Xmellyannex, only use files in this thread...
Flashing other radios and such can cause issues. This triband can only use the radio that foxtrot posted.
First, lets be sure you have the triband. Look under the battery. Should say sph-l710t.
If the "t" is missing, you have a standard s3 l710. If so, "savemyass.zip" should fix it... if not, ONLY FLASH FILES POSTED HERE. THEY ARE SPECIFIC TO THE TRIBAND.
The triband is a finicky phone (foxtrot knows) and he has done the risky job of figuring out its quirks.
We hope you get it up and runnin soon!
Looked. There is nothing that covers this only people using phliz to root. This has not been discussed whether a stock signed kernel from the sph-l710 with a date of before june 3 can be flashed to the sph-l710T for rooting with towleroot so to not trip knox.
This shows what I did.

And still nothing! Ughhhhhhhh!! This sucks! I guess I'm screwed. I messaged Morro and haven't gotten a answer yet. Does anyone else have the Nandroid backup. And I do have the "T" version. Thanks for all the help everyone!
I'm not sure what it is from the nandroid you need... But the only thing I can think of is your EFS... If he can copy from one phone to the other, and it work, why can't I give it to you?

Found this...
How to Backup and Restore EFS Data/ IMEI on any Samsung Android Phone
I'm not sure if it will work or not. But I am going to try! Has anyone else used EFS Professional on their T model?
This shows what I did.

As long as you still have a recovery or can get into download mode, there is hope. Keep on trying. With the help from the experienced members in here, you'll be able to fix your phone. Only when phone fails to turn on are you in serious trouble.
The info I got the following information from is the last picture you posted.
The pic you posted clearly says you have the SPH-L710T. That is a triband.
From looking at your pics, you baseband is showing as UNKNOWN. You need to find the triband baseband and flash it. The baseband and modem are the same thing. After flashing it you may need to do a prl and profile update.
If I recall correctly, one of the members here has created a fix for repairing the baseband/modem.
That is the issue. Wykydtron made it. He already flashed it, and it still read unknown. This reflects an efs issue
OK, just guessing now. Do you guys have a stock Odin flashable tar he could flash?
No. But this device is rumored to now work with Kies, so I will see what I can do.
Edit: A bonus tid-bit I found upon google; If you delete you entire /efs, and do a firmware update over kies, it will restore the data in it as it goes. If there are hints of your /efs partition still being in place, the updater sees it as functional and won't touch it.
I tried Kies... Didn't recognize my device.
I'm switching Roms also. Conquest is lagging when I try to unlock my screen.
