Where is the desktop view option? I hate mobile views and apps for forums. The "favorite forums" function was the best thing about this site. One click to see everything I wanted. If I have to hunt around all these forums I doubt I'll be using this site very much anymore. So far do not like. At all.
 
Well after hours of trying to log in - and until I'm again not recognized as a member, as has been happening - I can at least post here.

Elsewhere, everywhere else - I don't possess sufficient privileges to post.

You're the second person I've seen reporting that, bread. Do you not see a button next to the edit button on the bottom left of your post?
 
Logged in via my Note 3, chrome browser. So far no bugs, but if "feels" like the old mobile version of the site, even with request desktop version checked. I have to admit not liking change, but so far I don't like it. :( I shall get use to it and no doubt find I grow to like it. Right off to blow dust off the lappy and have a proper look.

I have to give thanks to Phases and the team though. Having Phandroid down for such a short while and my posts and details still being accessable is a major achievement, other forums updating have not been so thorough.
 
Ahhhh! SOOOoooo, this is why we've noticed several update messages onscreen. Nice. I get a flash error message when using the "upload a file" option.

TwoThree problems I see that may affect all users:
  1. I have zero trophy points. I'm not sure what I need to do to earn them, but I think one point is earned by creating your first post. I think I've accomplished that.:)
  2. The staff members list doesn't segregate or differentiate between mods & guides.
  3. Current guest tabs at the top don't work. Seems to only show guests and robots.

I had to create a new account to post this message. I'm a dev, and I can't get into my account to update my cm rom thread or any of my other rom threads.

I deleted my cookies, browsing data and history and I've tried on other web browsers with the same result.

I miss all the info with the avatars. Like Mod, etc.

Otherwise, got logged in. You need a log-in box on the opening screen. All I saw was register. I had to go to the end of this post to find "you must be logged in to reply"

I don't stay logged into any site by preference.

If you look for "My Favourite Forums" at the top left of the page whilst browsing the forum, you'll find what you're looking for. Clicking it opens a dropdown that shows all of your favourite forums, and if you then click 'Unread posts' you'll see the aggregated list of all updated threads in those sections. As far as I can tell it works just like it used to, and your saved favourites have been imported :)
