This is just so damn plain and pretty. Gotta love this new UI! But I thought we were getting a new SMS app? I still only have hangouts.

Try Textra - very nice app, recently updated to the Lollipop look, has features not in any stock SMS app.

Got my OTA at lunchtime yesterday.

So far enjoying the Priority mode. As long as it works properly and consistently it may be my favorite feature.

got it yesterday on 2012 nex 7 tablet and on nex 5 phone.
New keyborard contacts instead of people and photos instead of gallery.

Been using it since release. Love that app :)

Ok, so when I get a text now, I get a notification from that SMS app and Hangouts. I don't want two notifications. So I went in and disabled hangouts. Is that my only option?

P.S. I jumped ship to the Nexus 6 an hour ago.

I turned my Nexus 5 Android 4.4.4 phone this morning and Android 5.0 is installing itself right now. I'm in St. Louis MO 63110 USA and my carrier is T-Mobile. 1416428198533.jpg

Got my notification yesterday and installed Android 5.0 during the evening. My carrier is T-Mobile.

Got mine on Tuesday. It's cute:) everything that I use is working seamlessly. Tethering too. No complaints. Love the recent app windows

Got mine a few days ago but been so busy doing budget reports I still haven't installed yet. I also usually wait a week to see if others have any major issues first.

So feedback seems to install !

Okay I don't understand here. I got the notification for the OTA and it won't install. I can download it. Once I download it, it reboots like it's supposed to. Then it asks if I want to install untrusted .zip. Then I get this:

"E: failed to verify whole-file signature" "E: signature verification failed" "installation aborted."

Then it asks if I want to fix the root and it boots back into 4.4.4.

Just an assumption here, is your device rooted ??

It's taking a little getting used to, but I love it. My wife will have fits when she finally gets it on her Galaxy S5. I should have left her on a flip phone. <G>

I received a similar error when the zip attempted to install, and it kicked me into custom recovery. I rebooted back into 4.4.4 and I'm functioning normally. Now I'm getting the download prompt again, so I guess I'll try it again. I wish the error was more useful. Yes, I'm rooted.

I will get around to maybe installing this today, not that there is a rush, seems like some either love it or hate it, so I'll have to test it myself to see. I have been busy and also usually wait to hear and read feed back from others, I also wait a little incase a quick fix or update is posted a week later, so I have not been really been in a rush. I will try to get around to it today and give it a whirl and see. ;)
