Root [Boost Mobile] Tri-Band S3 (SPH-L710T)

Ok, so the download finished. I put phone into download mode and odin 3.07 recoginized it and every time I go to put the tar file in the PDA slot, it freezes Odin. I have no idea why.

EDIT- Its working now...... Sitting back til its done. HOPEFULLY IT WORKS!!!

mine would freeze while loading it also ....but if you unplug ur phone from the pc then l0ad the tar file then reconnect the phone then click start......thats what i had to do.... and the flash process will taake a while it was pretty slow for me also.....like an hour........ then when the phone reboots it will be on a screen that just says samsung and you will have a pulsing blue led..... mine stayed like that for another 20 mins or so..... be patient!!!!! it will work!!!! lol

With all do respect buddy i dont have to show you nothing...... i snagged it from kies to help others that were having the same problem i was.... me and another member has confirmed it worked!! (xmellyannex ) in the op
so you have two choices...either download and flash or stop belly aching and contradicting me!!!

And the APN settings depending on carrier. ;)

Speaking of which, has anyone had any trouble moving from Sprint to a Sprint MVNO like Ting or Virgin? Or vice versa? I'm thinking of trying out one of the other prepaid services since Sprint gives you too much talk and not enough data for under $45. I end up using like 100 minutes of talk a month and would love to have more data.

Since the SPH-L710T configuration was released in May this year, it can't be activated on any Sprint MVNOs (except Boost and Virgin, but you can only use the branded phones) because Sprint has this stupid policy of blacklisting new phones until they're a year old.

Got good news sprint l710t can be flash to expo prepaid plan so I'm going to a different carrier plan so is unlimited

This where I'm going paying 180 for both sprint phones prepaid HTC desire 510 and s3 l710t I'm good on my side and yes u can unlock this prepaid phone I find out only thing my imei changing
