i didn't need to use the partition updater cause i used the ota update, so i have no idea what to do with that, if you have tried to use it and got an error do SuperR a favor and in recovery go to advance and click/select report an error. it will create a log on your sd card and upload that so he can see where the error is occurring so he can try and fix it.

This is because the partition table got messed with in the update, the partition table needs to be updated so the phone knows what partition to look at for the sd card and other things

When you were prompted to install what were you running on? And yes I will reinstall it on my phone then.

Sounds like you have a non-standard modem partition for some reason. The problem is that the modem partition does not match the one from B05. The updater has only patches so if the existing partition is not exactly the same it will not patch it.

If someone has successfully updated to 4.4.2 and wants to help out, please flash this zip and upload the resulting "max_partitions" directory located on your sdcard. I will make a flashable that will work on all devices.
 
stormer_stock_B06_partitions_2.zip This is the version I installed and I am getting security settings forced closed when I click security. Thanks for the debloated deodexed version by the way its appreciated and love only have 200mb on internal memory to start. That's awesome. I was hoping 4.4.2 would have more available ram however. But if its snappy and responsive who cares. Can't wait to run titanium, link2sd, etc etc but the problem with security settings crashing is a problem. I made sure I had your updated partitions_2.zip and not the older one. So what do I need to do?

Was the stock email app removed? I don't have it after flashing the deodexed rom. If so is there a way to get the apk for that app?
 
Is everyone running the deodexed rom having issues with the settings force closing? Please try to clear app data from at least one app in the app settings menu before responding.

It is possible that I removed something required for the settings app to function properly or the deodexing caused a problem. I am uploading a completely unmodified stock B06 4.4.2 rom. It would be helpful if someone would test it to see if the problem clears up. I will post a link when it is finished.
