Root brick hard

no sir, have a dev from xda re-working the dll for me. holidays are over. no idea when itll be done. this brick seems to keep getting heavier

For those that are having problems with the PC recognizing the volt while bricked, I might have a fix for you.

Install latest USB drivers to computer
Go to device manager on computer
Plug the phone into computer and click on "scan for hardware changes"
----------Try to find the device. (After I flashed the zv4 rom by donjuro, the phone still showed up as "lgls740_z3" in Device Manager. Check for that under USB, COM PORTS, OR at the very top of the list)
Right click on device and go to properties.
----------it should say that the drivers were not installed.
Click the Driver tab and choose "Update Driver"
Click "Browse my computer for computer software"
Click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
Untick the box that says "Show compatible hardware"'
In the left column, click on ADB Google Fastboot Interface and install that driver.
When in fastboot or adb, look for Adb>Fastboot Interface (Google USB ID) at the very top of the list in Device Manager

You should now be able to boot into fastboot/ADB

Install latest USB drivers to computer
    Turn phone off

    Click update drivers
Click "search manually", then search for the drivers already installed on the computer.
It then tells you to pick your manufacturer and device model. In the left column click on ADB Google Fastboot Interface and install that driver.

You can now restore with ADB and fastboot. I can go into further detail when I get home if anyone needs me to

I'm going to try this ASAP. Thanks

that is a very vague explaination.. can you get a little more detail? especially with the last part, did you use bin extractor on the .tot for those partitions?
