Root screen glitching after flashing rom.

Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, rooted, running lollipop 5.0
Ever since I started flashing ROMs, when I randomly click something/slide the notification bar/press some app, the screen glitches. Sometimes it does not, sometimes it do. It shows lines, etc. or just flickers for a fraction of a second. I can't really explain it, but tell me if you want to make me upload a vid. I am using an unofficial cm12. This also happened when I flash the carbonrom kitkat. It really irritates me a lot. Thanks for replys

i *think* that's a custom kernel issue. I've seen that issue on my S4 while running a custom ROM and the dev explained what it was but it was so long ago, i forgot the explanation, to be honest. You should ask the dev of the ROM you are running.

Yeah are you using a 3rd party kernel or CM's/carbons?
If not, maybe try one
I'm only using a custom rom, but not a custom kernel, i have stock kernel. the rom's cm12 unnofficial for my p6200 (made by daniel_hk from xda). so should i try to flash a custom kernel? if so, what would you guys recommend for my device running cm12 unnofficial?
(P.S. it was Android 5.1 by the way, not 5.0)
