For some reason I had problems getting asop to download. So I started downloading cm11 instead.

Wish i knew anything about porting. Ive done some reading into it but it doesnt make much sense. I just upgraded my 2011 macbook pro with 16gb ddr3 ram and a 512 gb crucial ssd and the thing flies now.

It's hard to build on mac osx. Ive tried 5 times, but could never get anything to build. So I ran Ubuntu on my Imac for a while. Then I used my tax return to build a box. I think Im also going to use it to play pcs games.

I just finished getting cm11 onto my build box. I won't be able to do anything until tomorrow (monday). Let the fun begin. Ill probably try those repos you guys have already. What phones are similiar to the advant? The samsung core lte and anything else?

Hello guys/girls, I have been watching your progress, and I am very impressed at the speed of which you are progressing. I have the Core LTE and I was successful in rooting, twrp, and flashing everything even though it was meant for the Avant. I don't think that I can directly help you guys, but if you need help with any grunt work (compiling) or anything, just message me. I have a kickass computer that can handle anything you would throw at it. Again thanks for all the work.

I think it has something to do with the qcom_display_new_caf. I don't think the kernel can support that without being patched up.

Yea, Ill leyt you know. I had to get the icy dock so the ssd drive would fit into my server tray.

yea', cm11 is kk. j03lpr86 has done much of the leg work. Im just helping him atleast getting something built for you guys. And if we get anything built that works I'll share with you guys what I did so you guys can start building other roms.
