Oh, it got better: plane was delayed, then cancelled... Fortunately, they managed to book me with another airline, only an hour later, but then I was pointed to the wrong gate. Almost missed my flight, was in fact the last to board.
... Then my departing plane from PHX is delayed an hour...

That sucks. When I flew back from Hawaii last year, my route was Honolulu-Los Angeles-Phoenix.
We got bumped off of our flight from LAX-PHX because they had a deadheading pilot on standby. That flight was supposed to leave in the evening, we got put in a hotel and had to get up early to catch a morning flight on another airline to PHX. The upside is we got the hotel for free and free airfare to use at a later time. So I guess it's not all that bad as long as your return home is not time sensitive. Would suck to lose a job or something because of it.

Well... I am on the clock right now, so I won't complain much. However, I do have school tomorrow and I'm on-call for jury duty this week.
Update 1: PHX free wifi is just as crappy as at LAX.
Update 2: ... bash.org is blocked? Time to tether up again. Good thing I have unlimited data.
... not that bash.org is of any importance to me... they never update any more, it's only funny messages, and it happens to be a fast way for me to test my internet connection before opening up my usual browser profile (with all it's pinned tabs and such).

Apple Watches are not for the likes of you or I, they're for the new money in tiger economies. Where Apple has often done particularly well.
Android watches go from $200 to $300.
Apple sport watches go from $360 to $400.
They're not all 18k gold, they don't all exceed $10k, and knowing that those versions exist won't make the sport line a farthing's more valuable or desirable.
Only people who think that Apple just invented the smartwatch are going to be delusional enough to believe that they have a status symbol.

It needs at least an iPhone 5, I know that. But then Android watches need an Android phone >4.3, more choices though.
I'm getting my Apple Watch next week....
