Root {DISCONTINUED} SimplicityXL V3.0.0 {RELEASED 10/29/14}

POSSIBLE minor BUG ALERT... I can set the lock screen wallpaper with a picture from my gallery, but it always seems to revert back to the original after a short while... It seems to have a mind of its own because sometimes it will last the whole day and sometimes it won't last but one lock/unlock... I'm using the knock code for my screen lock...

Go to settings apps manger look for lockscreen app or apps. forcestop.,clear cache, clear data, reboot then try again.

Naa, i just like to keep up with all my threads, i peak in a few times a week. Might be back in the spring time with some kernel updates for the L70, Also the first and last OTA for this rom. The OTA that i willl roll out will stop the LG ota notification for 10c from popping up everytime.
 
hey guys can I get some help I followed all the instructions but im at the stage where its says installing and it has but stuck at 0% for a bit now and idk what to do because it says not to reboot or pwer off the phone can I get some help please

Ooo have you fastboot flash laf recovery.img to enable boot to recovery???

The problem you described had happened to me a few times, try changing your selections of apps and mods, if it fails anytime make sure to UNcheck reboot phone, before you exit aroma installer. This will take you back to recovery so you can wipe and reinstall.
 
Good Rom very simple, but root not working? It seems that after flashing I tried to use xposed installer and it said I didn't have. I made it rain once again in towel root it said I was rooted but xposed installer said otherwise.
 
Install another version of xposed. Not the preinstallablr package. It never worked for me. If you need a link you can PM me.

Thanks I'll try I was on this ROM earlier and had a few problems, previously mentioned my exposed wasnt working correctly, and also my performance control kept crashing for some reason after I installed the ROM I went to it and at first it said checking for root and busybox I gave performance control root permissions and it crashed.
 
Just go to SuperSu, Settings, Permissions Request Default - Set it to "Grant", instead of "Prompt" and check enable SU on boot. Sometimes when the phone turns on, apps like Performance Control need to run, requiring root permissions. I often miss the request window while i wait for boot to finish. Download and flash the newest SuperSu-2.4.6.zip. Also crutchcorns l70 mod comes in handy.
 
I hadn't been able to use SimplicityXL since i did the CWM-recovery-flashable-v10c-MS323. Had no 10b backups. so i copy/paste ro.build.product, ro.build.incremental, and whatever else needed to be set to 10b. Finally took after a couple trys.
Just felt like sharing.

Reinstalled this rom this morning and it seems I don't have root I used towel root it said I did have root but I downloaded root checker and I don't
