Root [MetroPCS / TMOBILE] [ROM] U.S. KitKat MINI 4.4.2

So I've officially moved on from this phone. Thank you everyone who has made this ROM and has been helping me and others on this thread. I probably wouldn't have survived this long with the f6 without an amazing KitKat ROM like this one lol. I hope that development can continue on even with the many limitations of this phone. I may check in on the thread evey few days/weeks but now I'm moving on. Thanks again everyone!
 
My admire is still all rooted and themed.... Can't use it for much... The battery ballooned so badly the back popped off....

It still a good phone.. running Open Android ROM....


I'm glad this phone got more attention than my huawei premia.. the supreme battery waster.... With a battery life of 4 hours fully charged... Until you use it....

That ones rooted and ROM'd... and chipped up from lack of respect... Lol...

I didn't mean to say that the avant is a bad choice ....I know it has better specs.....

Besides the fact I can't afford it..I know it's on cheap right now... I'm in no hurry to move on....

Unless.. Of course.. The devs move on and ditch this phone.....

Probably flash it to stock and give it to my dad... He just bought himself a new flip phone because it has bluetooth and can pair with his Honda... and my moon doesn't know how to answer her s4....

Facepalm.

Please.... Because im tired of flashing between my 6 kk.mini And the 2 Carbon backups i hav just to answer questions. I hav few projects in the oven. And haven't been able to do something with them thankx to my machine its down n work...

If u are using twrp.recovery. u would Hav2 format individually system/data/cache etc etc...
And u hav2 reformat to fat32 ur sd if u hav any hacks ...
If u hav cwm.recovery. wipe cache/ dalvik cache ... Then factory reset then format system/data/cache/data media then flash rom... No needs of gaaps...
 
Factory reset should be in system settings/backup and reset, and are available in both recovery methods like @krlypuma stated. Then you should follow installation instruction in the o/p from the roms flashable zip copied to the external sdcard.

For factory reset in TWRP have you tried wipe>Format Data>yes
I had a similar issue and this fixed it for me.

I came from CM11 for the same issue but this ROM is the best I have tried yet! Everything is fully functional for me.

ROM works amazingly thought at first I couldnt get into the Play Store or my contacts but worked around and fixed it anyway nice job

This is a known issue that can be partially fixed by flashing a special kernel. Your f6 is one of the ones that has the ov5693 camera which doesn't play well with any of the kitkat ROMs. If you flash the special kernel that Hroark13 made you can use the back camera but you still won't have led flash and pictures taken with the front camera will have a blue tint and will be stretched making your face look tall and skinny so its a trade off.

Sorry , but still trying to find a fix for the camera.
The rev 1 with 10i firmware originally I have works great.
It is a great daily driver. Never a problem with the camera,
Never has Black screen of death or random reboots, No echo problems and sounds great.
LG and their bag of tricks has stuck it to us with the 2nd version ones' cameras.

Nice rom but the battery down so fast
I use stockrom 4.1.2 and the battery's so good
