Which kernel are you using?
The mini voa one or the camera fix one? Mine just did it a couple of times this weekend. It has been great
 
Just to be sure I understand, I can take the miniVOA.zip (md5: decfc4c669f9124a7784cb3cf0f47d47) and overwrite the files in it with the files from HROARK13's camfix_cm1120d.zip (md5: c6de0d7c82d5686784484b1e2b32981f), zip them back up and install that as is, correct?

That will be the most current with the camera fix if I've followed this conversation (and others) correctly. I just want to make sure that I don't have to sign any files or integrate them some other way before the zip. If I brick this phone IT is going to be less than super psyched. :)

Thanks in advance and I appreciate the time you guys put into this; as a developer I fully understand the amount of time this kind of stuff takes.

Flash mini voa then flash kernel then reboot it has to be a clean installation.
Now... I can tell for sure if it works.. For some it has for other doesn't.

Here Is what I would do;
download this file;

and place on external Sd card where you can find them.
1.Make a current backup in the recovery you are using
( so you can return to current setup)
2.Follow the instructions in post #1 in the mini thread
when mini voa is completely installed
check operation
3.Power off phone, holding home key start up recovery
make another backup in recovery
( so you can return to Mini Rom )
finish and exit, and check operation.
4.power off phone, holding home key start up recovery
install Horark13s kernel and camfix with install zip option
when finished finish make another backup in recovery
( so you can return to Mini with Camfix installed setup )
finish and Reboot, check operation.
Hints:
If you wish to return to any setup you will be able to.
Copying the backups to a pc you can safely return to any setup you
want.Moving backups to pc will free up room on sd card if you dont
have a large one and space is needed.
 
Use "set as" option in gallery menu. You can choose lock screen or wallpaper on mini voa rom. Choose your theme first or you'll have to do this step again.

This is betaware. Please read post #1. If the live effect is what you require for your phone, might I suggest you return to a stock jelly bean setup . This was ported from the european f6 phone as stated many times and will not exceed that spec. User happiness is a personal decision and investigating its use and outcome is your choice and should be done before any flashing Is attempted. Thank you for tryin our rom. Good luck on your future flashing endeavors.

Thanks, guys. I'll give it a shot in a day or two. A couple things just came across my desk today while my hands were already full. No rest for the weary. :)
 
Great ROM Guys!!! Only bug is in my camera flash. But more importantly has anyone tried mirroring there metro optimus f6 with that Chromecast device in there HDTV???

Using the app to enable screen mirroring doesn't do anything for me. It says its enabled but when I open the Chromecast app the option to cast screen isn't there. Works fine on my galaxy tab pro, not sure why it doesn't work here.
