Root Lg f60 metro pcs

Hey.. Noobified... Can you try to merge L70 camera drivers to the kernel... Cus i notice that it has same drivers as f60 plus other... It may fix cam.

Xposed for L is not perfect yet.
I have been testing the rom for a while now and I have a few things to mention that might help you or maybe you can help me.
1. When running heavy games (Clash of Clans, Five Nights, etc.) the rom reboots for no reason.
2. Within a few hours of regular use the phone reboots for no reason.
3. Apps freeze for no reason what so ever even if its something as simple as youtube, google search or chrome.
These are regular apps that the old stock was fine running but for some reason the phone is much quicker but like I mentioned in an earlier post the phone just gets too ahead of itself and reboots?

Is this RAM related? Or Kernel is just flopping over when faced with heavy use?

It's all kernel related which is why I'm throwing away our kernel and starting from scratch I worked 11 hours non stop yesterday. I'm almost done removing unused lg drivers and device board files. From there I will merge it on top of a newer qcom kernel previously we were picking commit by commit from a newer kernel and breaking things.

Wow, I really appreciate that I wish I knew a bit more to help you but unfortunately I have not had any formal training or education in regards to programming. None the less I will be your guinea pig testing the rom :D. Again, thank you for your hard work "11 hours non-stop" that is just amazing sir I am truly grateful.

I think the partition sizes are wrong. When formating in twrp, I was left with 4GB storage instead of the 8GB i had before. This then stops me from restoring my stock firmware since it backed up all 8GB.

Edit: well. restored data after a reboot and its how it should be. need to find where its partitioning the data to 4GB.

How do you get into download mode (fastboot mode), I tried volume + and inserting the usb cable connected to a pc but that didn't work, I managed to do it once for the rooting but now I can't get back into it, any ideas?

You probably wiped the laf.IMG...if right you need to restore it (should be on sdcard) using adb/fastboot if you don't have twrp installed..

Has anyone else downloaded and installed the new build cm 12.1 android 5.1 3/25/15 on unjustified devs page for the f60 metro?? I did a clean install with it and in mobile data settings there was no apns ...I restored..

Also was there any changes to ROM or just the kernel? (Still on 3-20 build)

ROM has all the new features in 5.1 No changes to kernel. Camera and torch do not work...Booted just fine on a clean wipe and install..Only thing there are no services under APN settings...

@jplsteel
Okay I see now what your saying. There seems to be a bug preventing you from having owner permission even though you are on a owner user account but you still can't edit APN settings. You may as well go back to 3-20-15 because there's probably a reason why noobified hasn't posted anything about this.
