Help Build.prop edited .now facing Problem

favorite
I am using Canvas Nitro A311. Today I edited the build.prop file. There I changed the line ro.product.model=Canvas Nitro A311 to ro.product.model=GT-I9505. Now, after reboot the device says "LAUNCHER not supported contact manufacturer". I cannot access any menus at all, only Settings. How to fix it?
note:-Mobile can be switched
2.I can even go to setting
3.Even USB tethering can be done
The only problem is that Micromax Launcher 3 has stopped working and I cannot Access Anything.
Please do help

I've never heard of ro.product.model messing anything up tbh (I actually changed mine to iPhone 5 for a laugh once) but I made sure I'd made a nandroid backup first.
Did you? If not I think you'll have to reflash the firmware

You should be able to run an adb session, remount /system in read-write mode, and fix your build.prop back to the original...

Did you use Root Explorer to change it in the first place? If so, I think he/it creates a backup/original version that you might be able to simple rename in adb (after the /system remount, of course).

PS @scary alien it's about time I got my head around ADB mate. You wouldn't have a good idiots guide lying around for me?

How about:

also, for our mini-SDK (post #2 in here):

I don't know too much about the guides listed in the first 3 links (but a quick glance shows they have the basics), although I do trust @SUroot's guide and knowledge for the AF link. I know a little bit about the last link ;) :p.

Cheers!

Cheers SA mate I'll have a read later and I trust anything SUroot posted. Miss that guy even though he could be a bit "dry" at times.
Anyone know where he's posting now?

OMG after scanning this it appears I'm far dumber than I thought.
What I'm wanting to do is root/unlock my OnePlus One using Bacon Root Toolkit using a windows 7 machine and just can't find the drivers.
I tapped on Emon's link to device drivers but it isn't there.
To make matters worse I don't own the laptop and only get occasional use of it.
I'll have a proper read through the links when I get a chance. Thanks a million guys ;)

Ahh would that be the universal (based on Samsung) driver by kouche mate?
Think I've read of that before.
So do I just download that and set it as my opo driver?
Cheers mate you guys mean a lot to me (not gay) :D
