Root Lg f60 metro pcs

Post #283. Click on the build noobified posted then click on unjustified devs link and it shows new build.

I tried to clean install cm 12.1 but my gapps wouldn't flash. It kept saying I was using the wrong version of gapps. Does gapps 5.0.1 not work anymore? If so is there a gapps 5.1 because I can't find link anywhere.

Please Help! I have cm12 and twrp installed. I DO have a backup. I installed a theme and upon apply, my phone rebooted and is now stuck in a bootloop. How to I reboot into recovery? The only thing I've got it to boot to is hardware control mode. Thanx and much appreciation to any one who can help.

There are two way one is if you have adb debugging on the u can open up the command prompt like in the root method and type adb devices if the device shows up then type adb reboot recovery, if that doesn't work do this

Shutoff phone completely
Hold volume down and power button at same time
When phone turns on release the power button only, then press power button again you'll have to factory reset the phone it's the only way to get into recovery

Keep in mind that when cm12.1 is stable, xposed and pa gapps won't work on 5.1. You'll need gapps specifically for 5.1 and wait for rovo89 to develop 5.1 support.

There's a new 12.1 build on unjustified devs site. 03 28 15
Haha you guys are really stalking my uploads. I've been building it for fun. Dual booting stock and 12.1. I will release all the necessary files later to install multirom. I only have 500mb free on stock and about 600mb on cm. It's worth it if you want both and your minimal with space like me.

Hey Noobified, please pardon my noobness, but how would i go about dual booting my rooted stock with your cm12 on my lg f60? Also would it be possible to dual boot stock or cm12 and ubuntu or another lightweight linux distro? Really hope you can point me in the right direction. Thanx in advance for any insight.

Multirom would be great on this phone. I just installed your latest cm and while it's fun to play with I'm more comfortable with stock, gravitybox and my favourite launcher, Action 3 so I restored my original setup.
The ability to multiboot would let you try the new stuff while having the old reliable a reboot away. Can't wait to try it.

Noobified's pic looks like multirom by Tasssadar which I have on my Nexus 7 (2013) and is a great piece of kit. It allows you to install a modified version of ubuntu on the N7, as well as other roms, but I have no idea if our phones have the space/ability to run it. I guess we'll find out when Noobified makes the files available to us.

So did you remove bloat stuff on your Stock Rom?

i think once it has data and no random reboots i might use it as daily driver unsure though right now i like testing the new builds though and if camera is working its a definite switch for this phone

I bricked my phone i believe. I went to install recovery on the phone and it said it was successful but when i restarted to recovery the phone screen just stays black. I pulled the battery out and popped in back in. It vibrates when i hold the power to turn it on but nothing else. I tried entering recovery mode , download mode and safe mode and still nothing. I cant even get it picked up in ADB as a device. Anyone able to help?

Try to get into factory reset

Make sure the phone is completely off
Hold the power and volume down at the same time
Once the lg logo appears release the power button only
Onced released press and hold the power button again

That is the problem, there is no LG logo. The screen is blank. I tried to do the reset blind but i dont think it worked. I could fix the phone easy if i could get my PC to pick it up but its only see's it as storage space because the phone cant power on.
