No, not really, sorry.
All I know is what @psionandy stated in your other thread,

and subsequently, @Hadron

So, I'm not really sure how this question is different?
Sorry, perhaps I'm a little tired and am missing something?....
my question, is: i unlocked my phone to all carriers, and i want to root it, and later i will want to get it back to stock firmweare. when i get it back to the original carrier stock firmweare, will it remove my carrier unlock?

Are you planning on flashing roms after root? (assuming yes, as you are asking about going back to stock firmware)

Because after root, flashing the stock firmware will remove root.
And then, I would assume (not knowing for sure) you may have to unlock again.
Perhaps someone can chime in about that. ;)

my idea its just root , and when the new update (5.1.1, im currently on 5.0.2) comes out, unroot it

I'd just like to point-out that nowadays, installing root (via Chainfire's UPDATE-SuperSU-vx.xx.zip flashable anyways) is involving much more than installing (adding) the su binary to the /system/bin (or /system/xbin) folder and using the SuperSU app.

It also involves touching (modifying) /system/bin/install-recovery.sh, app_process/32/64, other files, etc. In other words, it's becoming a bit more "invasive" since other system files are being touched.

So, part of unrooting would involve restoring the affected files (which may differ by device), and their symlinks, to their original state--not necessarily a simple, straightforward process.

So, unrooting is best done by restoring back via the original stock firmware.

Hope that helps!

Ok but if I unroot to stock firmeweare. Will my device be carrier locked again? Or will it keep unlocked?

To be fair you made no mention of unrooting or flashing back to stock in your other thread, so you shouldn't be surprised if the replies did not address it.

Simply flashing a ROM, even a stock one, will not relock it - otherwise you could SIM unlock by flashing a custom ROM, which is not the case. But if you are completely reflashing with stock firmware I'm less sure (I am in any event not so familiar with Samsungs). It might also depend on how you unlocked it.

If you had the official unlock code through your carrier couldn't you just re-enter that if there was a problem?
