Help Skipped animations

I have Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 S7275R phone and when phone screen closes for some time and then wake
up the phone by pressing the middle button, it skips some animations of the launcher when swiping right to the app screens and just goes to the next page and after a while is fixed. Why is doing this and what should i do? This does not happens to my tablet or other device i tried.

Are you using a stock launcher or one from the Play Store?

I use Nova Launcher and although it's not enabled, I have an Advanced Settings option for "Agressive desktop" that says "Pesistence, caching, and preloading to reduce redraws. Comparable to Keep in Memory options in Android 2.x launchers."

Also, in the Developer options page of the stock Settings app, there are several drawing- and animation-related settings that might have an effect on the launcher drawing (these settings might be elsewhere in the Settings menus for you).

I'm using the stock launcher (TouchWiz). The drawing and animation options in the Developer options page
does not have an effect on the launcher drawing. Do you know of an app that prevents redraw of the launcher?

Sorry, I do not, but hopefully someone else will have an idea that might help.

You could also try long pressing a blank space on the screen and see if a launcher settings option pops-up that might have some features that could be tweaked that might help you (I don't have a TouchWiz device, so I don't know for sure how to get to it's settings menu).

You can't prevent redraw of the launcher, especially if the RAM was needed elsewhere. The Ace 3 isn't exaxtly a powerful device, and wouldn't be surprised by your situation. I'd even just turn off animations altogether to at least keep it consistent.

I thought Nova had an option to stay in ram?

Yeah, I remember that, too...don't see an obvious setting right now...they've got "Advanced" settings in just about every settings area now so it might be buried in on of them. There's also a Look & Feel Settings section where you can select Scroll Speed, Animation Speed, App animation, etc.---tons of configurable options.

It's the aggressive desktop setting (caution I'm running the previous Nova on purpose) and while comparable to keeping in RAM, it doesn't always.

If it has a smaller ram footprint than the Ace TouchWiz launcher, that would help.

Maybe check out "ZEN Launcher"
