How to take a screenshot

While I was rebooting the phone the screen took a screen shot. Which is great since Id rather do quick screen shots than up the lg memo app. I believe I had a volume key pressed and hit power but cant seem to get it to do it again. I tried searching and found a metro f6 saying its "vol down + power" but its not working for me. On tmo it says this isnt a feature but it def is since it just happened lol.

Does anyone know the correct button combo?

It's literally those two buttons, are you sure your pressing them at the same time?
 
Same problem here. Hold power + volume down = shut down menu appears. Hold volume down + power = volume gets turned all thew way down. Hold both at same time = accidentally called number I was was trying to take a screenshot of.

Doesn't matter if I do it for 3 seconds or 20, it never takes a screenshot. And yes, I restarted it.

What rom do you have installed?
 
I'm new to this but My phone fell into the water I picked it up real quickly and dryed ; then my phone started acting wierd it started to call people , tuning the volume up &' down . Would also go to youtube and just acting crazy. So I took the battery off and blowed on it , put it back and pressed the power ; but when I did that the screen phone showed " DOwNLoAd MOde " what do I do ???

Just take battery out. Leave it rest for 10-20 min thats all but if i was you i would let it dry more or dump it on rice
