Try some Power Chords (Root/5th/octave Root).. What'cha playing and how old are ya? No hate tho, I didn't start Sk8boarding until my mid 20's and actually enjoyed it.
 
I'm way past my 20's. The kid plays and I've always thought I wanted to too. He's home again so he's showing me the basics (and giggling at me). I have my choice of all of his now but he's going to fix up his first one for me, it's a Fernandes LE-X ('95 I think). That's the one he usually he leaves at home, and a Fernandes Native A-1 (no sustainer, '96 maybe?) but I don't like that one. Oddly enough, he won't let me have his Fender Antigua tele or either of his Fender strats. Silly kid, I can use them now but don't get to keep them. haha. I really want that tele...or a tele in general. Maybe when I can actually make something more than a mis-fingered twang I'll look into getting my own.
 
I can't whistle for anything. Can't play any mystical instruments either.

I sing fairly awful some 90% of the time.

I do a fairly decent Neil Diamond, I am told, though.

Edit: that should say musical, but mystical works, too [emoji15]

Yeah those barre chords are a killer. That's what I like about bass - no chords, and you can always fit in just by hitting the root note.

No thanks...I prefer my Strawberry to be a normal red and pink color.

Crisps in chocolate. That kind of messes with my mind :confused:
 
Heh, nothing so exciting as spending a day in the laundromat in exotic Grover Beach, CA.

On a three day vacation: gotta pack up and drive back tomorrow.
