The Stagefright deal is a nice idea, but unsure of the technical details involved to do so.. See below..

I'd consider talking to KingXteam in XDA as they're the most likely possibility of anything successful going down. I have reason to believe.. [emoji6] He may have more knowledge of ZTE devices than anyone else helping currently. [emoji41] you'll need to try KingRoot a few times and send the development request from the failure toasts to get the model in their system to work with. Hope that helps, and I do have high hopes for Rooting this device as it'll open more doors for development

Well it works on the zte zmax they have the stagefright and it works try turning on ur WiFi and doing it

Heard it only temp roots u tho enough time to get twrp on the device
