Root ZV6 V.5 Stock Mod - Debloated - No Gapps

I see. Will for the hell of it drop old slimbean 4.1.2 codecs and libs on to this cm11 I'm running now and then try a few things. either it will crash or work. will see though.

Rom is up. Going to focus on the CM11 Remix rom mod I already have a base built for. I am going to port over everything from my HTC One V Slimbean 4.1.2 rom to the CM11 rom. You can get some screens of it here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2335776

Thank you for all of the hard work you have been putting into this Rom, Curtis.

I have been using it since day 1 and have yet to experience a single bootloop, random reboot or battery draining issue, etc.

You are the man and we all appreciate your support for this phone.

Thank you but there are others who were here before me who jump started this device so I could even do what I do. I would much rather see thanks go to them.

dropped some libs in and codecs, got stuck at boot screen, but i do believe its because i threw the kitchen sink at it instead of picking and choosing particular things. i will keep plugging away at it to see what kind of upgrade in video playback i can achieve though,

Yeah, but before you, those of us sticking to stock were just tweaking the stock system. You're the only one who made a custom stock based ROM, so thanks for that. :)

im not done with stock. i like it more than anything else. and i do think there are a few possibilities for some cross rom tinkering between stock and cm11. those on the g2 did a few things there i would like to try.

ok noticing an issue with stock launcher NOT sizing wallpapers correctly and the ones in optimus theme i acutally added are partially missing with older version ones jumbled up in there. compiling issue with apktool again. it leans heavily on cached resources. doesn't pay attention well. i added new things, edited other things. ..so actually look to see that i did!!!! lol damn. will post a fix for this and home launcher zooming in issues regarding wallpapers. outside of that everything is as it should be. i think there might be an issue with weather and weather theme doing some of the same strangeness all going back to apktool. will have to see whats up there also.

Uploaded a fix that takes care of oddities with LGHome,LGHome Theme,LGLockscreen and both LG Weather and its accompanying theme. Flash in recovery and reboot.

Fixes wallpaper oddities, adds small launcher dock icons and dock transparency by default and fixes similar issues with the weather suite. Download is in original thread post. But if you are lazy like me...youll want a link here...lol..so here : https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24352994023707824

Installed the new version, clean install. Quicksettings still had the stock icons. Is that right?

Yeah. Pretty much. Mainly because it really borks use of G2 Tweaks in regards to the notifications panel. Either I will have to completely redo the notifications area or lean on G2 tweaks. I would prefer eventually removing it altogether. But for now we need it. i am slowly chipping away at all the features it has that we want. For instance the new launcher has small icons for dock menu without using the setting in G2 tweaks hidden menu settings.

Possible issue... This seems to be using way too much RAM. It was at 575 after reboot, and by the time I got into settings to see what was up, it was up to 625. For comparison, on v2 it would get as low as 450 sitting idle, and almost never get up to 600 unless actively running apps. The only processes not shown in the screenshot below are the keyboard and launcher.

EDIT: nvm... when I installed, I wiped everything except my SD card, but I didn't delete the Android folder off the SD card. Between removing that and some other cleanup (I did some app testing, mainly keyboards, which left scraps behind), it is running leaner now.

now i did add the pcsuite apps and the autorun.iso. if you do not need these you can delete them and free up more overall space. as for general app use. its pretty much the same as its always been outside of the addition of the aforementioned app suite. im averaging about 400-420 free. but it dips depending on what im running.

I was getting weird lag spikes, and overall RAM status seems higher than I'm used to, but BatteryGuru isn't active yet do that could be part of it. Maybe things were still settling in.

Check original post for weather full transparent and weather black semi transparent weather alternatives. Both downloads are approximately 25 mb flash ready zips. Will offer a few more weather alternatives to go with these. Enjoy.

Uploaded an alternately themed LGSystemUI for those who want a different styled notifications are theme wise. Semi transparent with new quick settings icons,etc.. download is in original post where the screenshots are located. Flash ready.

Updated the alternate systemui theme with more icons, added the volume slider to our stock LGSystemUI versus the larger sized one from the G2 Mini. Should reduce memory load by using this one. Will update main rom with a reversion to stock with additions (not the themeing...use this one for that..)

Heres a few screens of the quicksettings icons, volume and brightness slider themeing,etc..

Wanted to make a post regarding my work on this rom and cm11 remix. Will be postponing the cm11 remix. Want to focus on finishing this rom off properly first. So a bit of an update on what I am doing exactly. Right now I am focusing on framework-res and lge-res to get us a more flat ui style right in the rom plus I am literally remaking each icon for notifies in the status bar. heres a screen of the icon set for notifications that will be in the final rom. they are from cobalt theme cm11. I do have permission to use, have had it since htc one v although I really use it to literally draw some new items from I do use it as a base also.. Some elements will remain stock but others will be different

I just installed both of the fixes on top of an already setup v5. I am getting an invalid card message now. Should I do a fresh install?
