This is a planned designed to give Sprint a opportunity to scale what demand will be. If demand is out of control on May 21st. Then Sprint will pay a expedition fee to meet the demands by consumer with respect to May 21st.

Soo..yesss..for heavens sake..if you go and pre order on the 21st you will get your EVO this month.

Thank you Blue..... This just made my day... I'm 30 this month on the 24th... I honestly couldn't imagine a better gift to myself than this..... I praying for a May release.

Looks like they'll be getting a chocolate high, but they're not going to walk out with a bunch of Evos. The main sites still haven't had their shots at reviews, and I can't imagine Sprint letting people have them and have the first hands-ons come from other than the know review sites.

What I really want to know is who from Sprint will be there and the head chief on site.

Its a perfect marketing tie-in....look at the HD2, how many consumers ( And by consumers, I mean NON blog, forum readers) would even look at that phone if it wasnt for it being tied in with Transformers 2???

Lets not forget how simple minded the US Consumer is...I mean there are how many iPhones out there?

AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! MAY 29th!!!!!!!!! I just got done doing my P90X and 30 minutes on the elliptical but now I have the energy to do it again!!!!!!!!!!! I may faint from excitement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :)

Ahh! No preorder via Sprint?! (I only ask because I want to try to go EPRP, and don't want to risk not getting it just by buying via BB/RS)

So May 29th is a Saturday - so preorders won't be shipped? Have to go to your local Radio Shack or Best Buy to pick up? And Sprint won't partake in pre-orders like other carriers, it'll just simply be for sale on June 6th?

All is going to be revealed tonight, accept "MAYBE" for a couple of tidbits I mentioned earlier in this thread on the software tweaks we made at Intel. I submitted the gold copy (May 6th)and it will be up to Sprint/HTC/Google to allow for the simple revisions done. I have received no negative or positive feed back on my phone (Vacation) as of yet.. &#8220;No news is good news right?&#8221; Mainly the only one we care about is the Vo4G w/front facing camera. I put an icon on the video chat software using Google's text/speech microphone icon.

The forward facing camera will automatically turn on letting you guys know that someone else is calling you video wise. I put the Google microphone icon on top of your live video feed. You just need to touch the mic and you will be automatically connected in Vo4G conversation. I thought this would be a nice feature encase a person might be predisposed at a particular moment.

I just realized, I am such deep doodoo for posting this. I just thought you guys should know. I have been waiting just as long as you peeps. I got to play with it, but not get to keep it, and I will be standing right along side you guys in line to get..Piss on them right?

Here's to all of us getting our phone soon, very soon.

I caught a Marlin btw and he is back in the Ocean pooping his pants :P

Can someone explain this to me...I'm currently a Sprint customer, if I pre-order at BB will I get my upgrade price (I'm due) as well as number ported to this device etc.

Or will I basically be buying a new phone and will have to active on my own?

(providing that the information about May release for pre-orders is correct)

Sorry if I seem ignorant BlueScreen, but why/how would Intel be involved with an HTC phone? Intel helps develop some of the software for HTC? I thought Sense was entirely their own creation.

Intel builds the drivers, software, and protocols for the hardware. They also do the firmware. Even the qualcom chip is using intel software to work.
