Help Android is Upgrading

I recently changed my phone run time from Dalvik to Art not knowing what the hell I was doing. Now its stuck on Optimizing app 1 of 4. I connected to my PC and my PC reads it as a mp3 player so i can't do much with it. I also cant put into recovery mode or do a hard reset. Only thing I can do is go into some menu called "Hardware key control mode" but canceling it or turning it on or off just sends me back to the optimizing apps menu. Is it not fixable? my phone is an LG Optimus F60. I have seen a thread about this but the person was able to go back into their phone. I am not able to go into my phone. Also the Optimizing app 1 of 4 would change from 1 of 4 to 2 of 4 or 3 of 4 every time i would remove my battery but it would never go to 4. Please help!

Not sure if this will work, Nick, but try putting your device in safe mode and switching back to Dalvik mode:

I don't have an F60, so I'm just spit-balling here...

Just for giggles,try calling your phone while it's optimizing the apps 1 of 4,etc... see if it will respond....
Probably won't work,but,I once got into a phone this way when I screwed up & uninstalled a very important system app (launcher).

Well if all else fails, I'm guessing you could still get to download mode. (with phone powered off entirely, press and hold volume up while at the same time plugging into PC via usb). So long as that works and a kdz is available for your device, you should be able to fix it by reflashing your firmware as I'll assume the "stock" configuration will revert back to dalvik.

That's like putting a whole body cast on a mild sunburn but if you're out of options, it may be worth considering to get your phone back.
