looks like they are trying to cross thread the forums, taking information that appeared in another thread and posting it in other threads that they feel would benefit from the info.
 
Hi Everyone! Love my new Inc. We went to the VZ store and ordered them on Sunday, May 2nd, and were told we wouldn't get them until the 12th! We received them via fedex on May 4th! Outstanding! But we waited until May 7th to go to our VZ rep to have him set up our phones.

I'm trying to figure out how to hit the mail icon, and get our san diego ca cox communications emails...

Cox and Google are "in" with each other, so I thought this would be an easy process.

There were other new Incredible owners with the same issues (cox), and it seemed no one could figured it out.

Any help would be appreciated!
 
can someone please tell my signature file keeps getting erased? It is:

I think it only attached your signature to the first post of each page, by default. Not sure how to change it, but I think thats a Fug. Aka Feature/Bug. :)

It's useful as it has Verizon item codes for upcoming accessories as well as pictures. I found it Googling for the Extended Battery ...

I believe there is a security setting that you need to change when entering the POP and SMTP settings, specifically the SMTP settings. Cox TS should be able to assist you with that.

Doesn't it look kinda phallic to you? I mean, there's this guy standing there, with his hand next to his crotch, and a huge red race car appears to be where his junk would be, and he's got a S-E grin on his face to boot... :rolleyes:
 
I'm a brand new Incredible owner, having come from Blackberry, and I'm unable to figure out how to download ring tones from other than the VZW ringtone 4.0 app. Any ideas?:confused:

Yes. Don't. Instead download ringdroid and customize any mp3 you have saved to the internal or sd memory and go from there. :)

Today I tried sending some picture messages to friends and none of them could download the picture. I even sent one to myself and it wouldn't download it. I'm using handcent if it makes a difference. Anyone else have this problem?? It's really inconvenient
 
I dunno, too many missing pieces, I would rather come to this thread and talk about how awesome my phone is than stay in the main thread and watch all the people bitch about the phone. No safe haven in this forum anymore... :(
 
Took my incredible out of the country. I could not get the wifi to work....any ideas....Also, is there a workaround for Skype requirement to be in the VZ network work....:confused:
 
I had a minor problem with no coverage at school... then I remembered I have freakin' wifi. Sweeeeet. This phone's got my back.
 
How do I shutdown / restart / reboot my Incredible?
The power button only turns off the screen, while the phone still runs.
I'd like to do this without pulling the battery. Is there a way?
